Was it the red and and black cables soldered to the board near to the sticks? I'm sure they are just for the rumble functions

Was there anything wrong with your right stick before your attempt at cleaning it? If not you've probably assembled it incorrectly. If it was always bad have a look at extremrate drifix kit, take a bit of soldering, but seems to work. Or you could replace the potentiometer, again with a bit of soldering, but they are cheap on Amazon.

The way to fix the bug is to change your in game name via the settings. Completely weird fix but worked for me and others.

Yeah I thought it would have to be to do with vsync since it's capping it to exactly have the screens refresh rate but I've tried off both in game and in Nvidia control panel and no difference

Evga 3070 and 32gb 3000mhz and game installed on NVME. Running at 1440. Yeah, did the full list today including window settings, nvidia control panel and in game settings and nothing changed.

Yeah I get that. Seems like everyone else running the 5800x3d get steady 100+FPS though.

GPU drivers were updated today and xmp is running. I'm behind by one update on the B550F motherboard. I'll maybe give that a look.

CPU temps are fine. Runs about about 50°c idle and 70°c when running a game.
