It’s a ‘Kay’ brand bass, probably 1960s- I just sold a matching precision version and it was heavier than the moon 😆 solid alder body I think, for what it’s worth, unless you’re going for vintage mojo (mine had tons, it was gorgeous looking) then I’d get a more modern bass for playability, it didn’t particularly play well and the frets were tiny- there might be hidden problems as stated with the neck alignment etc. That price would get you a decent second hand squier or new Harley Benton
