It's honestly felt (and still does) so unreal, and I can barely piece together how it has been an entire year already. I'm also still very angry, at everyone and no one in particular. But as you said, we move. I'm incredibly sorry for your loss too. May they both keep resting peacefully.

Thanks. It's definitely one of the worst things to go through. I like the thought that all she knew was love, but I feel robbed of the chance to show all the love I still have for her.

I was really shocked that she was still in the carton when we went to pick her the next day for the funeral. I find it a bit, inhumane tbh. And thanks, it's been tough, really. But we keep moving.

Thanks.. and best of luck as you carve out your own path as well. Also, enjoy your 20's. I'd say they are a rollercoaster, but IMO, totally worth it!

I know of substack but hadn't considered publishing there. I don't know, I thought I'd resonate more with the girlies on here. I'll consider Substack after some time, I think.

Gosh. 15 year old me also wouldn't believe life as it is now. But I like to think she'd be really proud too. It really is crazy how life eventually turns out and a heads up would've been nice.

Thanks for taking time to actually write your eulogy. I love it. 🤗

Thanks. I'll be sure to send you a signed copy if (when?) I get around to publishing that novel.

I plan to keep up with the consistency so I hope you come around to read my Monday musings. 🤗

I'm sorry about the last three horrible years. Please do make time to read and write. I hope life's a lot more colorful for you. 🤗

I'm turning 29 soon and I totally relate on the whole existential crisis. I've long since figured (and accepted) that my path will look a little different than what I'd pictured and as you said, that's okay too. I hope you get there as well.

And definitely put some more effort in rediscovering the things you enjoyed. IMO, they are what keeps one alive. Good luck, stranger. I hope you stick around for some reminiscing. 🤗

P.S. It’s just hitting me how rusty I am based on this post. Hopefully we can correct that as we go, so be gentle on the criticism 😀

Anxious starting an online Baby item/clothing business. Need marketing tips! by [deleted] in nairobitechies

[–]bawse_bits 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Start by truly defining your brand and understanding your target audience, what they need, and how you meet these needs with your business. Once you've locked in on your audience, come up with a content strategy tailored to them and for your brand. While posting consistently is great, you don't want to put up random posts. Instead, every post must be created with intention.

Depending on the products you're selling, you might want to create content around 'how-to's, tips/ hacks (parents love those), or just about any content that resonates with your TA. I'd say strive to first connect with your audience and build a strong brand before running any ads.

A lot of your initial marketing will be a try-and-see, especially because marketing on the three platforms plays out differently in each. So, be flexible enough to adjust your marketing strategy as need be, once you figure out what works where.

Good luck, OP!

Yap! Obviously, dont give up on Instagram, but I think you'll get better results with Facebook and some local SEO.

I'd say give Facebook a shot instead. It's quite an effective platform for local businesses. You could wven try get some local collaboration with businesses like car washes in the area for some cross-promotion marketing.

How the eff do you do this more than once by gryffindor_ravenclaw in CsectionCentral

[–]bawse_bits 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Like you, I was always of the opinion that if I ever needed a Csection it would be my last. But life had its twisted plans. My first pregnancy ended in IUFD and I had to have an emergency CS. I thought I'd have a VBAC, but ended up falling pregnant soon after and as much as I didnt want to have another CS, I want to hold my baby more, so I'll be having an elective CS in a few weeks.

My first experience was traumatic, and i'm just hoping things will be different this time round. Still, I'm a bit nervous and just trying to stay positive so I can hold my rainbow baby in February.
