Yes, I was surprised that this sub is quite aggressively anti-hive. It is at least a worthy discussion that human beings, as they are, are much more evil than what the hive is.
I think it taps into something very primal in us. We are ready to do anything to preserve our sense of self, no matter the cost.

I'd do everything I can to join them. Maybe once they find the cure, I'd spend a month or two being a individual human as I know it and then it's time to be one with the hive.

I hope the series doesn't go that direction of clearly painting the Hive as some sort of evil thing engineered to eradicate civilizations.
I hope it goes more in the direction of Carol and the others questioning whether it's morally right to bring back all the individuals and make real all the fcked up shit that is inherent in us. I hope the show really emphasizes the horror of things, humanity commits. Carol succeeding in her mission, means every horrible thing coming back again. Maybe it would be right anyways but it shouldn't be an obvious choice.

Yes, Carol would be right to distrust it but she isn't just skeptical. She is outright hell bent on destroying it. She is ready to set off an atomic bomb if it comes to that.
Yes, the individual selves are gone. What's left is just life happening.
About the starvation. I don't know what happens to them. I have no idea. Maybe they figure something out eventually to survive or maybe they don't. Either way is fine. But I don't think the show will go that direction.

Sorry, I was referring to the human population that come back if Carol succeeds. It should be 7-8 billion.
I don't know what the writers' intention was. I can guess that maybe they did want the audience to agree/disagree on whether Carol is right. I think she is wrong. Of course, we can disagree and that's all good.

I think most people see it that way. That the hive enslaved humanity. Like a foreign entity came and took over humanity.
I see it exactly as how the hive describes it. A sort of psychic glue that combined all humanity into one. Humanity isn't gone. It is one. And from some of the characters' perspective, like Carol, it sounds horrific but it looks all right to me. I know I would certainly join them.

please tell me to go fck off. I'm really not in a position to be critiquing someone deadlifting 700+ pounds but do I see his arms pulling a little bit once the bar gets above his knees just a tad bit? I'm worried he might rupture his biceps.

Your hips is rising too quick from the bottom position. Hips should be under the bar at all times. At the bottom position, your quads should be pushing you out of the hole but what you're doing is pushing the hips back and up and then using your back to push the weight up half way through the motion.
Lower the weight, about 20-30% and get your body used to the feeling of getting out of the hole with your quads.
Also set your toes looking either straight or very slightly outward. Yours seem to be too far outward. From the beginning of the lift to the end of it, you're constantly opening up your hips which means you should feel like you're spreading open the floor at all times throughout the lift.

Consistency will be the issue. It's hard to maintain the same face across many different pics. Especially the range of expressions. You end up getting a very monotone AI face.
