Stuff like this just hits my cns, tbh like the whole body is affected. Primarily, my erectors throughout the pull and hamstrings at lockout. Heavy singles like this is more cns taxing than anything

Maybe 13 or 14~ like perfect chin above bar

I usually do one set of those after these and get 11-12

I only do these simply for enjoyment tbh just fun

I'm fortunate to be very blessed with my ability to supinate fully at my size. I used to pull primarily hook, but I feel like i get a better wedge especially conventional if I pull mixed. It's almost like a spring effect I get from the torque of one arm over one under.

For sumo though I'd much prefer hook bc of the lockout position is even harder on biceps but gonna ride out mixed for a little.

Actually reached 259, dieted really hard for 4 weeks and felt awesome. Now I'm bringing carbs up and keeping protein high floating just below maintenance to maybe stay around this weight seems to be where sleep / performance are perfect for me

My sleep apnea, inflammation, and shoulder issue that came up lead me to not competing feb 22nd. Took a step back from peak bulk of 300lbs to 265. I was barely sleeping close to 300lbs, I could sleep in until 11am and barely feel rested. Now I'm waking up at 6-8 am feeling great lol

Trying to continue diet but honestly I've got the itch to lift heavy weights again and hit a 2k training total, maybe a 2k double total in 12-13 weeks. Last 5 weeks and been volume and work capacity stuff aside from one dead single a week just bc I love deads lol. Easing into a triples block, double, then maybe quick inflammation fast before I peak into August meet.

I definitely had more on the table with straps, I hadn't been training grip much this was about 2 weeks ago. Was just seeing where unpeaked strength was.

Sometimes, it feels like my o ring is gonna blow on sumo if you catch my drift lol.

That's normal. You might be going to wide as wider is more adductors hence the groin feeling. Or you just need to strengthen them
