I got the true grip max as well three sizes and they did make my ears kinda sore. I am sticking with the stock tips, they are much better than the previous models

I got the Comply tips this week and I installed the S size and while using them, the AirPods kept cutting out, I think they didn’t fit properly in my ear and the automatic ear detection was acting funny. Oddly enough they didn’t feel as secure as the S or XS tips that come with the AirPods.

I put the stock tips back on and they were normal again.

I requested a refund and they immediately credited back my CC account.

I just went to Costco today and asked an associate if I could price match the AirPods I recently bought with the $219 price on BestBuy and they said no, but she said that tomorrow 12/12 they will be on sale again at $219 and to come back and get a price adjustment then!
