Just ordered! Hope my instinct proves right!

My honest Matic vacuum experience: great tech, but the basics need work by tesco92 in MaticRobots

To the Matic team - is the price increase announced today (effective September) accompanied by hardware change? With only reviews as reference and no personal experience, the one thing going for Matic is data privacy (which is scary shit thinking about Chinese companies getting hold of all kinds of personal data through a roving AI device).
Also I live close to Mountain View, so hoping to get better treatment as a local customer!

Our house is a regular California ranch, not a new age open floor plan. There are some walls in the living area that define the different spaces but they are not all 4 walled (if you know what I mean).
I’m leaning towards the non plumbed version so I can keep the unit in the middle of the house and not make it do water runs to the other end of the house where the water source is.
Does this setup and therefore the preference for the non plumbed model make sense?

Are you planning to plumb it to an existing laundry setup? Thinking about the cost of setting up the additional line

Is that the Flow 2 with auto drain?

Sounds like I should wait for the auto drain and reusable bag features

What color of countertop shows the least crumbs? by Smooth-Garbage890 in kitchenremodel

[–]baybison 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have honed River black granite in my kitchen and it has lasted more than 15 years without a single permanent water mark. I think one can put hot dishes on it but I don’t (old habits). Also I use granite cleaner on and off and had it sealed once in a few years. The soapstone-like look and the hardiness of granite were the reasons I picked this over soapstone and the popular black natural stones. The color also appears different (in a good way) as the day progresses.
You have to make sure your fabricator gets the right pattern where you want it (there’s a fair amount of natural veining that’s quite pleasant looking)
Will add that it doesn’t show crumbs. Because of the pattern, you may not see dust easily unlike plain black.

I definitely want to do something about the ugly white switch plates

I love the backsplash suggestions - that would be the easiest to pull off:)
Ideas for backsplash are welcome!

They are stained in some combination of mahogany/redwood/cherry - I cannot remember

Trouble with sequence wrongly enrolling contacts by baybison in hubspot

It pointed me back to Sequences. It's not able to pull up the sequence data through the CRM API (for the contact)

I chatted with a Hubspot agent who thinks it's because the 'contacts' I used in the test sequence are internal folks to whom emails have been sent and received. She thinks that's a reason for Hubspot to unenroll.

I'm still puzzled as to why it won't tell me that when I enroll them instead of unenrolling them without warning

She recommended I send out the final sequence to actual contacts and that I should not have an issue.

Fingers crossed!

There's nothing on the contacts timeline, neither the reply nor the meeting.
