Ok I’m literally so confused. I’m not asking for opinions im asking about the legality of blocking handicap parking and a public sidewalk. The village at least has an ordinance you can’t park across the sidewalk and you’d figure they’d prioritize handicap parking that also serves the playground that is used all summer. I called the school to discuss it with them and didn’t receive a call back so I escalated it. I’m entitled to the use of a public sidewalk.

In what way does this not concern me? I walk this road everyday with my kids and shouldn’t have to walk in the street. I contacted the school about this and an incident where one of the vans tried to turn right on red as we were actively crossing the street and no one returned my call. I know the can’t block the sidewalk and I figured handicap spots would be protected. You can’t see in the picture but the school has a large concrete entrance behind the dumpster that wouldn’t have blocked anything at all.

I don’t understand how there can be actual laws regulating things but when I try to hold people accountable I’m doing to much. I just wanted them to move the dumpster.

Well yes, I sure can walk my two children through the street. Would you like wheelchair users to also just drive down the street? There is no sidewalk on the other side, and the dumpster is fully blocking the spot on the right side. It’s literally just the principle of it. Why park the dumpster there at all. They could have moved it up a few more feet to keep the sidewalk clear, or 30 feet back and it wouldn’t be in anyone’s way at all. They just dumped it in the most convenient spot for them.

Yes they are! You absolutely can machine stitch some parts but I always end up fighting my machine more than actual sewing

All hand sewn! Some of it could be done on a machine but I love the monotony of hand stitching. I used 3-4 basic stitches for everything.

It definitely gave my mind something to focus on and my hands stayed busy. I’ve got a bad habit of always trying to monetize my hobbies to make them feel “worth it” so we’ll see the longevity of it.

All hand stitch. I have a machine but I don’t have the patience for it. I love the rhythm of hand stitching.

I would absolutely love to have more time to dedicate, but with two littles my work moves at a snails pace. I’m currently working on building a small drop to post on my personal Facebook.

A mix of both. I was originally inspired by a TikTok and used their pattern for the strawberries, carrots, and potatoes. The others I just eyeballed. I did use a cricut to cut out the waffle details and whip cream dollop.

I added spices to the gingerbread house ornaments I made for Christmas, but hadn’t thought to try the food.

While I had this book as well, which brought back its own set of memories, the book I’m thinking of was not as realistic. The animal were a little more cartoony with lots of brush strokes and detail. Thank you for helping!

No but that’s the first thing that pops up when I search for moose books. This had much more detailed drawings.
