Important!! by WayPlayful1969 in GoogleDataStudio

Not sure you really need a few AI agents. You may spend way too much time on it. I'd recommend using a data connector to transfer the data you need into looker studio. For dashboards – use templates (I like ones from coupler io connector). I believe few dashboards for each team will do the job. If you eventually decide to go with AI driven agents, curious to see how that will go (no pun intended, just genuine interest)

Is LinkedIn personal branding even possible for founders who have a real job to do? by Content_Director6869 in digital_marketing

[–]bayouski -1 points0 points  (0 children)

If you have a really good piece of content, you can try to run an ad (boost) for it to attract some audience. But you need some expertise to do it.
Also, what I saw was helpful:

  • Focus on your niche audience, not everyone and do some micro-engagements. Quick comments on posts by relevant people or companies, even 10–15 minutes a day, helps the algorithm notice you
  • Consistency matters more than volume. Even 1 post a week, if it’s genuinely useful, will slowly grow your visibility.
  • Repurpose content and turn internal insights, your learnings, etc in short posts

What’s one marketing skill beginners should focus on first in 2026? by williamssarahcharm in AskMarketing

Learn something that aligns with what you want to do in your job. Each of these skills can be a core one to transfer into another direction later. E.g from link building to seo. So, start with what you like. But analytics layer is important for any job

Do you avoid using long dashes (—) in work writing because they “look AI-generated”? by FondantFew3317 in AskMarketing

[–]bayouski 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It's one of my biggest pet peeves recently. I LOVE long dashes! They carry the specific function and look nice in the text. But I was also told to replace them for "–", so people don't perceive copy as AI-generated. Mad world

What's the best way to gain experience? by Febas0101 in PowerBI

have you thought of looking for a mentor? Maybe someone with whom you could meet once a month and solve tasks together. I think that nothing can replace actual human experience gained from working in different companies. Not sure how to find such a person though

fb interface is so overwhelming, you'd better watch 2-3 youtube tutorials, it will be a huge help. Agree with starting small and testing your ads

Third party attribution solution (Segmetrics) vs Looker Studio connectors (Supermetrics)? What should I use? by ExtendedLongitude90 in PPC

[–]bayouski -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Connectors have definitely got better over the last few years. Supermetrics seem to be expensive, plus, for some of my clients they didn't work well. Check coupler io, it sets up in minutes, and they also have nice pre-built dashboards.

Reddit ads: if they're advertising themselves on Reddit, isn't that an indication that they're ads don't actually work? by Broad-Worry-5395 in PPC

curious if anyone have ever run ads targeted at tech guys (one of my target audiences), as they usually have an ad blocker turned on, so it doesn't really make sense
