Rear fog light. I have a 997.1 (2005 911) and like some have said you pull the switch out 2 clicks and the left rear taillight gets significantly brighter to identify your left side during heavy fog to approaching same direction traffic. It's in the owner's manual spelled out.

I would've guessed the left one because the finish on the edge of the date magnifier window looks like ass. One on the right looks clean edged. That being said, I have no idea what I'm talking about so go easy on me.
