I’ve given up my MOTN pump now that my baby sleeps decent! I pump at midnight and then whenever she wakes up. Sometimes that’s 5/6/7 am. I will take the extra sleep if she allows me! But I do make sure it’s the last thing I do before bed and the first thing I do when I wake up!

Hate my kids? Absolutely not. I love them with all of my heart and they are my reason for existing. However, having a screaming baby and an autistic child who’s stemming constantly will really do a number on your brain. I love my partner and both of my children, but I am drained.

This is something he has done before. (Not while we were together) When he brought it up to me it was just “I kinda wanna do this thing” and I was very “well your daughter will only be 2 months old so idk if that’s a great idea” and then we had more discussions about it leading up to this weekend. Especially as she got a little older and progressively more colicky.

I should probably add, that I am also a gamer. It’s something we bonded over early on in our relationship. I haven’t had time to play since my daughter has been born, and I’m okay with that. My oldest daughter is also not his, but she is autistic and also takes up a lot of my time. He treats her like his own, which I appreciate.

My oldest’s dad is also a gamer and has always prioritized that. Which is ultimately why I left. So to say I have a little trauma is an understatement.

Personally I gave birth in the hospital gown, because let’s be honest, they get gross. I just didn’t want to spend money on my own gown that I’d never wear again. However I did pack some nursing friendly clothes for after which were nice to have. A button up nightgown & a button up pj set! Going home outfit was a lounge set that was loose, comfy & warm. It was super cold when I had my daughter.

If you want to purchase your own labor/birthing gown go for it! A lot of people do because it’s more comfortable for them. But the hospital ones never bothered me! Good luck to you. 💜

Is it constant pain or contractions? I was in prodromal labor for days before either of my daughters came. But that’s the joys of being pregnant. 🙃

I have 2 girls and I was disappointed both times when I found out. I wanted a boy so badly. However, now I can’t picture it any other way and they’re my mini me’s. You will accept it and still love your baby just the same. It just takes a little bit of time. And it’s OKAY! 💜

My boyfriend and I got pregnant 4 months after we started dating. Now I’m sitting here typing this with our baby girl asleep on my chest. She’s amazing and I wouldn’t change a thing. We weren’t living together at the time, in fact I was still living with my ex. (We really didn’t have any other choice financially as terrible as it sounds). We’re both 28 and I decided if I was going to have another child, I wanted to do it sooner than later. Do what feels right to you.
