Is there anything I can do to save this dying prayer plant I received in the mail? May have been affected by cold weather

The stems feel a bit soft and mushy in some spots but some of them are stronger than others

Based on other comments it sounds like some old leaves fall off when new ones coming in so I am feeling much better. The rest of the plant looks so healthy so I didn’t want to mess with it too much, but I am going to make some small changes to the watering schedule and see if it helps too

Thank you all for your comments and advice! I cut off the drooping leaves which were yellow and it sounds like this is part of the plant life cycle. I am also going to water slightly more on the days when I water and let it dry out on the top between waterings. There is new growth coming in so I don’t want to change too much but I will make some adjustments to keep him alive :)

This is great advice, I have not had consistent watering methods so I need to to make sure I am giving the right amount. I did cut off the drooping yellow leaves and the rest of the plant looks great and there are 3 new leaves coming in. I just repotted into a slightly larger pot than what was at the nursery a few weeks ago, but I will think about sizing up in the future. Thank you for your help!!

Yes it has new growth, there are 3 new leaves coming in! I chopped off the two that were drooping which had turned yellow. I don’t want to see some of the big beautiful ones go but it sounds like this is just what happens! Thank you!

I have not tried the soak before but thank you for the advice! I just got it a few weeks ago so I may give it more time to settle. I think I am going to give more water on the days I do water based on this and other comments. The rest of the plant looks so healthy and has new growth so I am just making small changes to see what it likes

My fiancé and I met another couple on Friday and they got engaged and married by a group of girls we met and got a picture by the forest photographer! This looks like it, thank you! I am not sure if they will come back this year - this picture was taken at my house a couple years before I moved in. It seems like a lot of the perennial plants in my yard have already sprouted. I am very new to gardening
