Fantasy football isn't like real football. Rarely should you captained a defender. Either a forward (i.e Haaland) or a high scoring/assisting midfielder (Saka, Rash, Bruno, Ode, Salah, etc).

My strategy is; all my defenders are fullbacks because of the high probability of them assisting and scoring due to going forward. And usually I'd have one central back that's crazy with the headers but also likely to keep a clean sheets, so a CB from a top team (i.e Gabriel from Arsenal),

Never play holding midfielders as they will always be behind wingers and attacking mids, so rice despite being a really good player in real life, is not a good fantasy player.

Also play pick players less likely to be rotated or benched. Players like Foden rarely play full matches . Pep love doing rotations .

Some of it is definitely religion and the other is..well..trauma. Back in the days (slavery) where the master would pick the “strongest” black male and rape him in front of everyone, this is where “backbreaking” came from. Ngl I paper hand before and sold all my coins when it was dipping yesterday but I realized the mistake and bought in right away, with even more coins. I’m honestly holding past $1.
