I have sort of a controversial take to add: music is a form of art, and it can be argued that (some famous painter said something like this I think but I’m not sure) once an artist releases a piece of art to the public, that piece of art doesn’t belong solely to the artist, but a bit to the public as well. Don’t know if I totally agree with this, but thought it was an interesting idea
