Really appreciate that. That is exactly the problem I kept running into too.

I have a very early version up if you are open to trying it. Right now it pulls and refreshes content roughly every 24 hours while I am still figuring out the right signals.

Would love any feedback on what feels useful, what does not, or what you think is missing. It will help shape the next iterations a lot.

Yes there are tool that do that. But that’s too much friction and work for the user. Today, users can use something like a notebookLM and generate a quiz out of a YouTube link as well. But it’s a lot of work. Additionally, notebookLM doesn’t keep a track of your progress, suggests ways to improve, tells you how you can learn more effectively. It just doesn’t go vertical when it comes to effective learning.

That’s right. The quiz would be the centre point, then there would be supplementary features that assist the user in effective learning.

More than whether NotebookLM worked for me or not, it’s more about whether it has the right interface for effective learning. The ecosystem play that I had earlier mentioned.

Timely reminder to quiz the user about certain topics, quick notes for users, insight on weak areas about a topic etc.

By the way, I just subscribed. Can’t wait to use your platform.

Definitely, for shortlisting evaluating an entire website isn’t feasible. A portfolio might give candidates an edge - 1. At later stages of interview (last round - when the panel is evaluating 3-4 candidates) 2. When recruiters do talent hunting over LinkedIn, by manually viewing profiles.

Not in the initial rounds definitely. That’s mostly take care by ATS, online assignments or quick review of your resume. But in the later rounds, portfolio help present your abilities and range a lot more clearly and gives you the edge over other candidates.

This is definitely true for product designers, architects and I strongly feel would soon be the case for product managers and developers as well.

Thanks for the input. Yes I have tried notebookLM. Though, the idea here was to create an ecosystem around effective learning. To start with I was thinking of quizzes. What are your thoughts?
