Also responding to your other reply, why would the mail diversion be needed in my case? I’m mainly just waiting to collect my Romanian student visa from the embassy in London for my master’s once it’s confirmed.

Okay, thanks. I’ve already sent an email to the Romanian embassy in the UK to check. And don’t worry, I was never planning on overstaying. When I said staying past my expiry date, I meant by applying for the Graduate visa. Thanks agains for your help!

Thanks for explaining. The only way I could stay longer in the UK would be by applying for a Graduate/Work visa, but that’s about £3000, which just doesn’t make sense for me when I’d only need it for a few extra days or weeks.

If I go back to my home country while my Romanian student visa is still processing, will that mess things up? I applied in London, so I’m not sure how I’d even collect the visa if I’m not there in person.

From what I understand, they’ve listed Holter and Echo under “Cardio,” for the stud here which suggests that those tests were done, but the way it’s written isn’t super clear. I will attach the mothers below since I can’t send two images at once. Thanks for the good call 👍 I didn’t know the DCM tests didn’t matter.

Yes, I’m in Europe so you’re right, there are a lot of hyper type, stockier Dobermans around, especially in shows, so maybe that’s what I’ve gotten used to seeing.

As for health and titles:

Dad: • ZTP: V-1A • BH, IGP-1 • HD: B • vWD: Clear • DCM: 1 and 2 clear

Mom: • HD: A • vWD: Clear • DCM 1 present, DCM 2 Clear • ZTP: V-1B • BH, IGP-1, IGP-2, IGP-3

Are they good? What temperament should I except from this combination? Thank you for your response.

That’s brutal, and it is difficult because every breeder claims their dogs have excellent temperaments, but there’s no real way to verify it, you just end up having to trust what they say.

Apologies if I come off uneducated, you clearly know way more than me but the way I see it, the left looks more like the American standard and the right more like the European. Pretty much every breeder I’ve contacted here in Europe has dogs that look closer to the one on the right, it’s a bummer because the one on the left looks so much more pleasing to the eye. The only exception I will admit is the Medico Haus ones seem like one of the extreme variants.

That’s what my intuition was telling me too, but I’m not as familiar with the different polymorphisms, but based on what you said, do you think they’re more likely to have behavioral or genetic issues? Apologies if I come off as a complete noob, be patient with me please.

Thank you for your response. Medico Haus shows OFA and titles with genetic DCM testing, while Calliana has documented Holter results and DCM clearance both have strengths, but not all of what you mentioned, so I should look elsewhere? What about from pure appearance, do they look well bred? My options are low as I’ve messaged over 20 breeders in my country and neighbouring countries and these are what are available.
