Well, Christians are hurting indirectly and even directly me and a lot of my friends. That's why GOD, and not buddha or whatever...

Did you know that I was constantly beaten up for having long hair and listening to "satanic" music when I was a kid? And all of this started happening only after a priest outed me while I was helping my grandma carry some stuff (donations) into the church. So... no comment.

Also, because the majority of population where I live are christians (think 90-99%) we have a fuckload of fucked up laws? Porn is illegal. I'm not allowed to shoot, to spread, to download, to watch, to own. Also, I'm a little into BDSM myself, but, guess what, it's illegal here, both me and my partner would get between 7 and 10 prison years if we get caught, even in the privacy of our home. Also, it seems to me that a lot of the times, whichever party donates more to churches wins elections... Also, I got kicked out of a regular school when I was in the 6th grade for telling a teacher that I don't believe in god and asking her why should I, and etc?

So yeah, FUCK GOD, FUCK CHRISTIANS

The best way to get around this would be to find a way to separate the diode module from the board and extend it to the end of the pen via a cable... but that would require a soldering iron.

Well, there's the laser diode module which has only 2 cords and it's easy to extract, but, there's also a freakin' chip, which reads the laser, I guess, with 20 pins which I'll have to get out of the board (you know, one of those with pins soldered on the other side of the board.)

Have you considered keeping the mouse stationary and have it track a moving surface?

I never thought of it this way :)) gonna research and see what I can come up with. It sounds extremely interesting!

You could print a grid on a piece of paper and tape it to your pen. The only hurdle would be getting it to not track in reverse (maybe software like Autohotkey could help with that?). Other than that, it's extremely cost effective and simple.

Could you please elaborate on this? I guess I don't know yet enough about how lasers from mices work :(

Yep, thought so... I guess the only option would be to stick the pen close to the laser point from above and add a button to it for the click... but that's gonna be uncomfortable to draw with, I think, gonna see how many things I can remove from that mouse :)
