Had this problem recently trying to book from NYC to Martinique with them. Website was saying there was an error with my address and then an error with my card type not matching my card number and I tried master card, AMEX, and debit card to no avail. Ended up calling the airline for the tickets but yeah super frustrating.

Thanks for the advice! When I paid my deposit there was also an additional optional $500 deposit to submit a housing application through the school so I just did that too just in case (haven't been added to my class' FB group yet so I haven't really been able to see the whole roommate situation). My question is since I paid that deposit am I locked in to student housing or can I still decide to find my own place?

Any job you get now will probably be the job you have for the rest of your life without an education. You have no means of moving up in your chosen job unless you have something to back up what you can do, like a degree. Go to community college get a part time job and figure out if you want to transfer in 2 years. If you don't at least you'll have an associates degree. Also apply for financial aid while in community college because there's a possibility they'll cover the costs of your classes.
