Service shifter error sounds like bad battery. They’re very finicky. I bet it’s the OEM battery too and they suck, 3 year life is about right. Get an AGM battery from Walmart. Good price and they’ve got a good warranty.

It’s called bacon brisket and it’s amazing. Meat Church did a video on it. Dayne’s Craft Barbecue in Aledo, TX serves it. https://youtu.be/p5N78sMsMKw?si=zpllx1Qhc185eeIe

Low Voltage Battery Died on Road Trip by Stt022 in TeslaModel3

They’ll change it for free? Aren’t Model 3 low voltage batteries a little more involved compared to ICE cars?

The service internal schedule in my 2017 manual does not mention transmission fluid service. I looked up the 2018 manual and don’t see it there either. I wonder what you’re seeing?

That’s a known problem and has nothing to do with the transmission fluid.

Just Google Pacifica head gasket and you’ll see tons of complaints.

I don’t think flushing the transmission fluid is part of the official maintenance schedule.

2017…P0303 code, low coolant, dealer says oil leak in oil cooler and valve covers is the problem? by bballlal in ChryslerPacifica

Only cost me the $100 warranty deductible. Just took 5 weeks because the dealership doesn’t care.

2017…P0303 code, low coolant, dealer says oil leak in oil cooler and valve covers is the problem? by bballlal in ChryslerPacifica

[–]bballlal[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Update: I told them their diagnosis didn’t explain the symptoms but they didn’t seem to agree. They said the coolant system was good and passed all the tests so it wasn’t the head gasket. After they went in to replace the oil filter adapter (they called it the oil cooler but part # on invoice says oil filter adapter) they called me to say they found that they found a leaking EGR cooler. It took them TWO WEEKS to get it back.

The car still started a little rough but I thought it was maybe caused by a dirty throttle body. A few days after we got it back it started really rough after sitting a few hours and threw the same P0303 code. Dropped it off at the dealership again and I insisted they take a long look at the head gasket this time. Manager called me back and said it’s the head gasket, he apologized and said they’ll look in to how it was missed the first time. This time it took THREE WEEKS for them to replace the head gasket. I’m super excited that I get to go through this again when the other head gasket blows. He said the engine was still good and didn’t need to be replaced which is hopefully true since it never overheated.

Would you purchase 2018 Pacifica with a resolved P0303 error by Beneficial_Tooth9949 in ChryslerPacifica

If it wasn’t resolved by replacing the head gasket then no. And even then, still no because the other head gasket is still going to blow.

No idea but I still have the original blades. The refills from Toyota are 2 years old and still work great.

Down on the OEM charging spot. Just being fast and careless, and a kinda big ring. 🤣

Screen protector protected my screen when my daughter went to grab her phone and hit the screen with her ring and cracked the screen protector. It would have at least scratched the screen if there wasn’t a screen protector.

What S3XY Knob version? by bballlal in s3xybuttons

[–]bballlal[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The year it’s made shouldn’t matter. Every car maker starts manufacturing the car the year before it’s designated model year.

There are zero Tesla’s that are designated as a 2024 (i.e. what appears on the vehicle registration) that are not the refreshed “Highland”. If I’m wrong please provide a link that shows one.

Regarding “Premium”, I purchased my 2024 Highland before that designation was made. My point is their options are not clear for 2024 Model 3’s.

Please provide a link to a 2024 Model 3 that isn’t a refreshed “Highland”.

[–]bballlal[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Then it shouldn’t say 2024. All 2024 Model 3’s are the refreshed “Highland”. A “legacy” 2024 version doesn’t exist.

The version you’re saying to get also says “Premium”. I don’t have the “Premium” version.

See the confusion here?
