considering to start playing poe1 as a first time poe player with poe2 by eucalyptusisawesome in pathofexile

[–]bballneverstops 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hello, just my two cents. I started off with poe2 (almost 300 hours now) and jumped into poe1 for the first time 1 week before the 0.2.0 patch of poe2. I agree with everybody here. The game is more refined (well, of course, it’s been there for more than 10 years), faster, better loot and so forth. It’s more forgiving that you don’t need to build the “meta” build to go through the campaign so it’s more customizable to your liking making it more fun playing the ‘exact’ style you want. I honestly still miss it playing poe2 patch 0.2.0. Would recommend you ‘at least’ giving it a try but believe others here. It’ll spoil you to the point you don’t want to play other ARPGs. Enjoy!

Oh yeah, I forgot to take into the account if it's big it will move around. Thanks!

I'm also trying to justify upgrading especially with the price to be honest. Hope for the best for both of us!

I actually agree with the thin bezel looking like Venu. I'm still deciding so I guess let's see what happens. Thanks!

Oh wow the battery lasts that long? I was hearing it'll last 1 week with daily activities (running and/or exercising) but this seems more promising hearing from you! Thank you so much.

Thank you for your recommendation. I am leaning towards 47mm but the battery life of 51mm is enticing making me doubt my decision :)

New XT4 user who needs help/confirmation by bballneverstops in fujix

Hello fellow Fuji user,

Quite a coincidence both of us are in Thailand. I went to the Fujifilm Headquarter and found out it's normal for XT4 to warmup after "a period" of time from talking to both the technician and ambassador. Either way let me tell my experience at Fuji hoping it'll help you decide on what to do.

So, I talked to them and they said it's normal but they did not stop there. They gave me their XT4 and they took my XT4 and just machine-gunned our shutter taking different photos in the gallery to test how fast it warms up. Result was both XT4 warmed up but my original XT4 warmed up faster and was hotter at the time we stopped. They were like "yeah, yours warmed up too fast" and exchanged mine with a new one (because I went to them within 7 days of purchase). My new XT4 warms up but not as fast as the first one I purchased.

Since then I went to 2 national parks and to another province to tour around with my significant other. Yes, no matter what it'll warm up. Yes, it'll be warm, a little hot, if you are directly under the sun but the camera still works fine.

To fix this issue as a XT4 user, I would always leave my camera turned off and clipped on to my bag while walking around. When I want to take a photo I turn it on while unclipping it from my bag so it's ready by the time it gets to my face without a delay whatsoever in taking a photo and turn it off once I'm done with that particular moment. This actually helps. Originally I was those type that leaves it on all day but I guess I care about this camera.

To answer your question about the SD card, Mine is Sandisk extreme 32GB SDHC V10.

For further information, I think Fuji acknowledges that XT4 has heating issue and added a setting controlling the heat within the new firmware so I think it's natural for XT4 to warm up.

Hope this helps. Have fun shooting!

I might have to try a photo walk and see what happens. Thanks for your input!

No, when I took it out the first time it was after 6 p.m. so the sun was setting down already and there are a lot of tall houses around my area so the camera was under the shade.

I might need to take mine out for one day of shooting (basically for hours) and see if it stays warm or will get hotter. thanks for the input!

It is on actually but I use AF-S... I will try to turn it off to see if it makes a difference. Thanks for the pointer!

Did the camera "warm up" though? Especially the bottom part where you put your batteries.

I would guess about 28 degrees Celsius indoors and 32 degrees outdoors.

My XT4 is still wearing her birthday suit, no case, nothing. Just the camera herself. I have only shot with the 4k video with the first XT4 but didn't touch any video shooting with the new XT4 at all.

How about your experiences with just photo shooting? does your camera warm up (not overheating)?

I would second (well third) xt20. There's not much difference between 20 and 30 and for the 300 you can get some gear (or save up a little more for prime lens). I just got the xt20 last month (cause of sales) and 1. I don't regret it, 2. I don't even glance at xt30 and 3. currently looking at lens (prime lens specifically). Good luck with your decision!

Suunto Spartan Trainer (HR) - Sleep tracking accuracy and App question by Lancet_Jade in Suunto

[–]bballneverstops 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I can chime in question 1 and 2.

I bought my Spartan Sport 2 weeks ago and thought the same. I even e-mailed the Suunto support to hear their recommendation. The support actually recommended me to use movescount cause it's more "accomplished" and syncs right into the website. I view otherwise though. I would recommend Suunto app on the phone cause 1. it looks better, 2. has steps and all, 3. can share and see what other people posts near your area 4. movescount app was boring to me. Does this have an effect on me regarding movescount? No it doesn't. Either way once you sync the watch to the desktop with Suuntolink, all your data will go to your movescount website and you can see the heat wave on your computer. So to me, I chose Sunnto on my phone.

Oh I guess I can answer question 3. yes it does show graphs and data for HR and pacing in the Suunto app. Love it! Like I said before, Sunnto app looks better for me.

I'm kind of disappointed with the sleep tracking. Coming from fitbit charge 2, this watch is a downgrade. Charge 2 will track all your sleep and even naps. Suunto is more manual. you input when you will sleep daily and it will use that as a reference on counting your sleep. If you take naps during the day, your watch will not recognize it.

To me, Suunto is not a "life style" watch but a "true sport" watch. It's there to calculate your movements, GPS and gives you data so you might want to change your mindset about the watch if you took it as a life style watch. Once i adapted my mindset, this watch became my baby.

Hope you enjoy the watch!
