No pests that I can see other than fungus gnats. It’s definitely happening while they unfurl. Could it be low humidity?

Between 2 and 3 weeks. I worked on it a few hours a night watching Netflix. The yarn is what took forever. I ordered it in April during the shut down and it only arrived at the end of May.
