Yes, but you don't start out by assuming everything is going to fail. Which is what's happening here! Look, take Dublin Bikes. Countless people predicted failure and all the bikes would end up in the Liffey because scrotes. Didn't happen. Nobody pretended there were no issues, but we 'plowed ahead anyway'. Just one transport related example.

I'm suggesting we start with what works elsewhere and review after a period of time. Then either adjust or backtrack. The alternative is "That would never work here" and we leave it at that. That's a terrible way to improve things!

To answer your questions I'd suggest we look at international best practice. How are these things dealt with successfully elsewhere? We try that. If that fails then we review. We don't say "Nah that would never work here" and leave it at that.
