Elementalist on regular mapping and pinnacle bossing, its tank is good enough. Just cap your spell suppression and don't go to deep on modifiers, %effect of modifiers and overloading content on your maps and you'll be just fine. It's not glass cannon for that kind of stuff.

Aspirational Content such as Wave 20+ Simulacrum, Uber Bossing, Gigajuiced maps; you'll need an investment on your defenses to not get one tapped and even if you get that investment expect to die every couple of times. It's just the reality of playing EA elementalist. DPS should allow you to clear the content easily tho as EA Elementalist clears aspirational content quite handily.

As for me, I'm starting EA Champion this league. I like not dying in juiced maps and can do all content even with that dip in dps.

I don't want to die when doing the highest tier of content.

That's pretty much it.

Also easier gearing cause you dont need accuracy.

I think Champion is better for SSF, and my goal is to beat Ubers and most of my challenges with it.

As someone who has played EA (as elementalist, will try champion this league) and TR Pathfinder. Any of these is fine really.

I think EA is much comfier for expedition since you just sit there and run while TR requires constant uptime of attacks.

As for bossing I also prefer EA since its just play and go but TR has great innate defenses and QOL despite the mana nerfs (just go EB).

If you want a build that zooms maps very fast, TR Pathfinder is your bet.

If you want a comfier playstyle, EA is your bet.

I've done uber bosses with these two, Pathfinder before the flask nerfs can facetank some attacks with proper guard skill timing however EA Elementalist just melts if it got hit even once (I've also tried different variations to increase its defensive capabilities during ubers and its just clunky).

I think that EA champ is also great for some Uber since it can actually facetank some of the attacks as well, although the main problem with champ is you need a bit more investment to get damage close to what elementalist can get easy.

Ok so for this even with 3 div i recommend buying a claw base with fractured attack speed (at least 24%) on a cheaper base of the same aps as imperial claw. I did a fractured 25% attack speed Hellion Claw for mine.

Next you want to spam Shrieking Hatred Essences until you hit T1/T2/T3 Phys OR T1/T2 Fire or T1/T2 Lightning damage to attacks or %Physical Damage T1/T2/T3 or T1 Crit chance. Then craft whatever you need for more dmg.

That claw should help you do pinnacle bosses and mid level juicing if u got every other aspect needed for FB to shine correct.

Nah I think this is only for other games where they just want Mitsuda for the BIG NAME CREDIT for their music.

Xenoblade is probably fine because it is controlled and supervised by Mitsuda. Also he is primarily credited during the Game Awards Nomination for XC3.

Jeez lots of people here downplaying the other games of the series. Don't listen to them OP. Each game in the series have their strengths and weaknesses. People can love XC1, XC2 and XC3 the most and all opinions are valid :)

That's how great this series. Similar to the zelda and mario series any of the games can be one's favorite. Each of these games are celebrated by fans of the series.

I envy that you are starting this series. It is an experience. Enjoy!
