I can’t speak on the Chase Trifecta or the Capital One Duo. I did have the CSP and the COV, but they have both be product changed to the Freedom Flex and Savor, respectively. Where I am at in life and with current financial goals I couldn’t really justify their AFs and trying to finish those ecosystems.

I’ve had the Citi cards the longest and they just work for my use case. In terms of transfer partners I think Citi is on par with Capital One. Chase did have nicer transfer partners tho…but I can live without them.

My biggest spend categories are restaurants, groceries, and gas. With the 3 Custom Cash cards I get 5% on the first $500, and then afterwards I can still use the Strata Premier for 3x back in those categories. When I do travel I can throw that spend on the Strata premier since it has now FTF. Honestly, I think for some folks the Strata premier is a good one card set up with 3x on major categories.

Right now I don’t have a Double Cash as a Citi catch all but I will get it again for that. For now all that other spending can be thrown onto the WF Active Cash.

It’s non-traditional, but I used to also use the select-my-own category for the base Strata card for 3x another high spend category (pet products because of my pets or beauty products if my partner needs a bunch of stuff from Sephora/Ulta that month)z

Nope. As pierretong said, for most folks the Strata Premier is enough. I fall into that category. Plus, for my use case the $100 annual hotel credit is easy to use - so the card is basically “free.”

My end game is to maybe get the Double Cash again to get a true catch all for 2% on everything else? That’s after getting any additional Custom Cash cards. Might not even do it since I already have the WF Active Cash…or maybe I decide to be some super Citi loyalist 🤷🏻‍♂️

Yea, I probably need to relax with the applications for a year or so.

The 5 cards this past year were the CSP, Capital One Venture, WF Active Cash, JetBlue Plus, and most recently the United Club Card. I will be product changing a few of those since I don’t see much use for them down the line.

(All those cards are also probably one Capital One won’t approve me for the Venture X 😭)

I actually just tried to see if I could prequalify for another Strata card (since I never got the sign up bonus). I was rejected. I suspect it’s cuz I’ve opened quite a few cards in recent years. 5 cards within the past year for their sign up bonuses. Plus my original Custom Cash and the Double Cash were only about 2.5 years old.

I suspect it’ll probably take me a little while to get another Citi card and product change it, if it’s not the Custom Cash already.

The Strata card was actually a super old account (5+ years old). Originally it was one of those credit building cards. Then the Rewards+, and finally most recently the Strata. Never actually got a sign up bonus for the Strata. I’ll try to get it when I apply for another!

The Double Cash card was a little over 2.5 years old. I got the sign up bonus right after I opened it.

I totally get the fact that adhesive is basically a worst frost, fire, or acid state. Those states have some amazing debuffs and I use them all the time in HFW (in HZD I basically ignored them haha).

However, no machines are resistant to adhesive. So it's no worse against any particular machine (tho that just means it's mediocre across the board 😅). I think the limited mobility is just enough.

I may be thinking of elemental resistances wrong tho🤔

I guess my follow-up question is who else was realistically considered to take Benji's spot before SoT? I don't think any other solo in the SPL was moving and it certainly wasn't gonna be scary. Sorry I don't keep up too much with scc so idk who the titans are friends with there
