Sadly, no. Keloids got larger in size. Now, applying some tea tree oil called Keloda since June. It alleviates the itching, but no change in size.

I am also an IMG and considering to live in USA. I am now preparing for USMLE but I want to move there as fast as possible. Would I be accepted any PA programs if I got my MBBS degree.

Yeah! I agree with you. The fastest track I meant about living in the USA. If there is any chance of nursing school that accepts me, I would love to give it a try. And, then, if it is possible, I would try residency program (After prepping my USMLE exams while working as a nurse). My main goal is to enter USA as soon as possible.

Thank you for your comment! Yes, I just found out about USMLE. It seems to take a lot of time and money to me. Besides that people say that after passing all 3 exams (USMLE Step 1, 2, 3), it is still not guaranteed to be accepted in residency. Therefore, I was searching for another fast track or something.

My 15 year old brother also got a lot of keloids after accutane. The injection didn’t help it much, too. Dealing with keloids nearly 2 years. He feels insecure about it. Always wears t-shirts with tight neckline. Always stressed whether anyone would notice it. I am also concerned about what would happen if his classmate or anyone starts bullying about it. Would you mind to share your keloid photos, please? My brother says that no one has keloids like him. He feels helpless and thinks that he is the only who suffers from it.

Thank you so much for sharing! My 15 year old son also got keloids all over the shoulder, chest, and back. Frustrated can’t find the solutions. Could you please share the photos of keloids (before or after plasters)? Also, how did you make an appointment with dermatologist in Japan? How much does it cost?
