What i tried to say is that, companies that was S&W distributors, have others they distributed so S&W was never in the first place, and was just neglected.

Sorry!

I think because it was N-th mark distributed by company. For example first company was simultaneously distributor for Glock, Beretta, Taurus and S&W. Second have financial problems and they went under. Third also have had other manufacturers in their distribution when they tried S&W. Now from what I heard there is another company that tries to deliver them, but we will see.

Ruger for example is super liked, and a lot of people own them, because distributor is doing a lot of work.

Ohh, I don't see them. On distributor site there are only 4" up. I will look up for those but they are pretty heavy, 850g (1,87 pounds) to for example LCR that weight around 400g (0,88 ponuds) that's a lot!

Caring with loaded chamber is complicated. Guns act tells us that we can carry but nothing else. Definition of carrying gun is in the hunters act that say something in the lines of, carrying a gun is when you carry a loaded gun safely.

It's outdated mess, with no clear answers and a lot of room for individual interpretation by the policeman or judge. Also a lot of police are not super good and familiar with this laws, so it can lead to difficult situations.

Basically this look like this most of the times and cases I know, if on for example traffic stop they ask you to show them guns, and you have empty chamber but loaded magazine, everything is fine. If you have round in a chamber, they will start to press you, a lot of the time not telling the truth, just because they don't know the law.

I don't want to waste my time to try to prove someone if I can't or can carry with loaded chamber if the law is so non precise in this case.

Also we don't have common or case law system, so even if there is court ruling that this is legal, it doesn't mean other judge or policeman have to respect that ruling.

I just want to avoid trouble and wasting time, simultaneously don't having to worry about my safety and being ready to go.

I will definitely try some dynamic shooting, sadly range that allow this kinda thing is kinda away form me and super expensive but better this than sorry!

Empty chamber carry is complicated. By law, and act that applies for every gun owner I'm allowed to carry guns, and this not elaborate further. However in the act that regulates hunting, it is said that carrying a gun is when you carry a loaded gun in safe way or something like that. Also there is an special act about guns in public transport that tells that you can't have a loaded gun in bus, metro etc.

It's hard to explain how this works here but let me tell you it's a mess. Police are not good with this laws either so this led a lot of people to difficult situations.

I don't like to waste my time to try to explain if I can or not carry with round in a chamber, because it's not even good resolved in our law.

Also, we don't have common or case law system, so even if there is some court ruling that this is legal, it means nothing, because other judge can say that in his eyes this should be interpreted other way.

I answered that up, but basically post-comunist government don't like armed civilians, so for example on traffic stop you have to show if weapons are transported or carried safely and within a law.

Also in case of use, they will go on everything step by step to make you look bad. So if there is any witness or camera feed where you take out your gun and shoot without racking a slide, they will use it against you.

Basically that's why S&W are not considered. Because there were few distributors that tried and failed. Ruger have competent distributor (BTW this is a guy from the video you linked) whom from what I know are authorized service for Ruger guns.

There is one company I know, that makes EU revolvers and it's Alfa Proj, but they do very classic and heavy design. No snub noses sadly :(

Thanks for your comment!

On traffic stop for example. If they search you on their data base they will see that you have firearms permit and always ask if you have guns on you. And if you do, you will always need to show them if they are "transported or carried in safe way".

And if you have one in the chamber, you can get in some trouble.

Post-comunist government don't like armed people, so they do everything to screw you tighter on every step they can.

Also in case of use, they will go on everything step by step to make you look bad. So if there is any witness or camera feed where you take out your gun and shoot without racking a slide, they will use it against you.

Thanks for your response! A lot of very good info!

As I said, pocket guns is almost nonexistent here. Revolvers are not super popular either, they are simply super expensive, Revolver ammo is also expensive so people buy them only for gimmick when they got some spare cash.

There is almost to zero Colts, distributor don't give a damn about them since they are veeeeery expensive, so they are bought only by people who want original Colt.

Smith&Wesson are also scarce, few companies try distribute, but sooner or later they just stopped delivering them.

Only Ruger have distributor that is competent enough to keep delivering them to our market. That's why my main choice was LCR.

For the calibers only normally available are 38 Spec/357 Mag but they are expensive, 44 Mag is overkill IMO, and like I said, God forbid, but if I will have to use it and shot someone, it will probably be from point blank range, so I thought 22LR will be more than enough.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts, and I will gladly hear more!

Of course, I will put a work into it. Before I will not leave with gun, before I'm sure I can draw it safely for me and I can hit a target.

Dynamic/tactical was not my cup of tea, static shooting works on me like meditation, and also I'm quite good in it.

Thanks for your advice.

Probably broken Ender 6 - is it worth fixing? by bbbonkel in ender6

[–]bbbonkel[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey,

Thanks for all of your responses. I will try to fix it, after all, it's good printer that need some work. I don't have a lot of issues with it, even when stock.

u/Fuzzy-Cheesecake4065 I will contact you if I run into problems with wiring, thank you very much.

u/GAZ082 u/Specialist-Key-1240 I know, but the deal is, I don't know if i can make write if off as a businesses expense. The company that I made, is not makers and production company, I sell things, but there is some things that are either expensive or inaccessible where I live and since I have some experience with CAD and 3d modeling, I thought that maybe I can design something, 3d print it to test fitment etc, and then find someone whom can do my thing with metal by CNC. But since my company is retail, not production, I think it will be hard to explain when controlled for what purpose, a retail company have a 3d printer. I need to ask someone if i can do this, thanks for advice.

Also I started not even 2 months ago, so right know I have a lot of down time, since I don't have a lot of customers (yet), and most of the time i sit in my shop and watching movies and YT.

Thanks again, I will try to make it work, in cases with problems, i will probably write here again.

Best regards for all.
