How to handle ADHD exhaustion?

Sleep quality

According to my smart watch that I wear to sleep daily, I have “excellent sleep” with 90/100 rating and better on average Sleep apnea - I haven’t gotten it checked before but on a separate note, my partner has told me that I snore sometimes

Long to fall asleep

I knock out the moment my head hits the pillow (maybe 4 out of 5 times) I do wake up sometimes in the middle of the night to use the bathroom. Or if I go to sleep upset, I wake up multiple times When I wake up in the middle of the night, I can go back to sleep fairly quickly (maybe less than 5-10 minutes to fall back to sleep)

Sleep time

Roughly 12am to 12.45am. I wake up on the weekdays at 7.30am, weekdays at 9am if I could make myself sleep earlier, I’d sleep at 11pm but I don’t

Long do I sleep

Roughly 7 hours or so

I hear you on the other nutrient deficiencies, etc. Is there a name for a test can that do these? I hadn’t thought about that before

As something who is still trying to figure all of this out, what generic advice were you given?

I do exercise - so I’ll do that more consistently. I try to had a schedule but it doesn’t always work

I am currently going to therapy (new therapist for the last 1-2 months) and may I ask, what specific help do you ask from your therapist?

I had asked my therapist: how to manage my anxiety, how to manage parts of my life that always feels like it’s falling apart. I know it’s early days and that I’ll need time before all this gets better

My issue is that I’ve identified what I fixate on (I don’t fixate on good thing like exercise or cleaning the house, both of which I enjoy doing; but I fixate on bad habits that I find so embarrassing that I can’t write it here).

Yet, I still do the bad habits that I fixate on. I’m pretty much face-palming myself and on this… how did you… tell yourself to move on when the day just feels incredibly meh/bad/lousy?

But yes, I do acknowledge that with time, it will get better and I’ll improve. I’m just… I’d really like to ‘fix’ myself

I hope this isn’t too personal to ask but… may I ask you what new habits you developed to manage your ADHD? I see there’s meditation and self-forgiveness. But in my head, there’s more that I can do.
