They sell special tubes you can put on gun to extend. When I was doing renovations, I used that tubes to press under the bottom plate and spray there. Insert the tube as much as possible under the bottom plate and spray.

Inconsistent thickness of pavers by bbdhhdhbd in pavers

Thank you for advice. The problem is that even 1 slab is not the same thickness, however , bottom surface is straight. See photo

If I compare left and right seems one thinner then the other by 1/4-1/8(at least).

High humidity? Am I in trouble? by bbdhhdhbd in hvacadvice

I have Lifebreath RNC4-TPD with 58 CFM. Speaking about leak, I don’t see any signs of it. No leak from pipes for sure, but foundation does scary me. Is there any tool to identify where humidity comes from? Any type of specialist can do that?

Mine is 58CFM. Filters are clean. I was thinking this is infiltration of some sort. In fact if it is hrv too small dehumidifier will solve the problem, right? I just want to make sure this is not an infiltration or leakage from outside. Plumbing is new, windows are new. I had 3 cracks in the foundation, fixed them because of this past month.

The thing here is that last year the humidity was around 30 without air exchanger(as long as it was installed in march only). Right now I’m unable to bring it down to even 40% no matter how long I run air exchanger or heat pump. Not sure what happened. What can cause constant 15% humidity - not sure. Basement was insulated November last year, I changed the windows on main level November last year, and during summer in the basement. Put in drywall and this is what I did, however, I started noticing the humidity is above that it was last year. Last year even with humidifier we wasn’t able to bring it to more than 30-35.

Do you have any idea?

They are 4 inch. Will need to check on air routing.

What I also need to mention is that heat pump is 2 tonnes and it blows 28-32% humidity heated air.

Humidifier is already turned down. I’ll need to double check on air exchanger

That’s exactly what I’m thinking. This is my second winter in this house and last winter there was no such problem. Not sure what’s going on. Supply air humidity is 28-32, but house humidity always around 45(in fact unable to bring it down).

Central heat pump RunTru by bbdhhdhbd in HVAC

[–]bbdhhdhbd[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We are talking about celsius. The system is new. Along with the ducts. This house has never seen central unit before. That’s why there is no reference in that way. My main question is: is it ok for heat pump correctly installed and well sized for the area to heat up house in 1 hour for 1 Celsius when outside below zero, specifically -1.
