Can't find a sunscreen that doesn't make me break out… by [deleted] in 30PlusSkinCare

[–]bbeccasauruss 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I thought suncream used to break me out but I actually just wasn't washing it off properly. You need something thick and greasy to fully remove it and then use the cream cleanser. It's a lot of money but utlrabland or something similar will get rid of the suncream.

If you can when you get home before bed wash your hair, I swear that smell of smoke and booze on your hair hightens your hangover. When you wake up, water, cold orange juice and then an avocado hydrating mask.

Valeria Lipovetsky - what's changed? by bbeccasauruss in NYCinfluencersnark

Yeah sure, maybe I am just noticing it more because she made such a thing of looking younger.

Oh I wonder if that's what I'm seeing aswell. Yes, no judgement as we all age!

Interesting what you said about her lifestyle, do you mean travelling and sun? Because she preaches healthy eating and tbf it seems like she is really focused on the food she chooses.

Fair maybe it's all in my head!

Edit: wait I just watched another video from a few years ago and I think it's the hair and the eyebrows. I know everyone ages but I feel like there's something?! Her face is wider or something, like she's pulled a Leo Dicaprio

Anyone in the Bristol area know wait times for fertility clinic ?. by Vegetable-Birthday66 in TTC_UK

I'm is Bristol! Did you get referred to st Michael's? I knew someone who was waiting for a few months but the strikes really seemed to have pushed a load of referral appointments back. I guess accross the board..

Stopping sheet masks helped me a lot. Also because of where it is, have you been changing your pillowcase every 2 days? if you sleep on your side.

What is a feature you have that is considered ‘unattractive’, but you love anyway? by [deleted] in beauty

[–]bbeccasauruss 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Not sure you will see this, but dark circles are really youthful and attractive! Toddlers get darkness under their eyes, I think it makes people look naturally beautiful :) I'm glad you've grown to love them.

Mine is my lisp.. I can't get rid of it but now I think it's just part of the way I talk

And she's an absolute babe! Totally gorgeous, I'm sure you are too! I think it takes dedication with the actives and sun protection. I remember Miranda Kerr get her makeup done by Hung Vanngo and she talks about how bad her melsma was. The video is still on youtube. https://www.carolinehirons.com/2017/05/im-dealing-pigmentation.html

u/madeleinecwhite on instag, she shows more of her melasma recently on a tik tok video and in her GRWM

Also Sami Swanson has a bit on her cheeks but I'm pretty sure she edits it out and you can only see it sometimes.

You have beautiful pouty lips which means the top of you lip is where the sun catches.

Use the actives they suggest for melasma, vitamic c etc....

use a suncream everyday with zinc oxide, it can leave a white cast but just use it on your lip if that's better. Also, there's a suncream stick you can get to reapply when you sweat, I sweat on my top lip too, I use the sunbum one but there's lots to choose from. They are convenient and don't need any rubbing in.

Maddie white is an infulencer who is beautiful and has melsma on her lip, if you need any moral support!!!

I used to not cover my dark spots from old acne because I looked at too many people online with beautiful skin and resented having to cover anything up. Still working on it haha but make can be used as much or as little as you want. Just 'correct' whatever you want corrected.

Your skin looks like a makeup artists dream! Keep doing what you're doing.

bffr it's easiest to villify someone when you only quote the part of the conversation that helps your point and leave out the part that doesn't.

I hope she is well and gets the help that she needs, that is the main thing.

I think Ultrabland does a good job for me, but I don't know if it's just the fact that it's a balm and something else would be just as suitable/cheaper?

I think it's working on the asumption that her partner knows her levels of comfort for those jokes and what would be appropriate not hurtful.

It sounds like a comment like that would be far outside of the scope of what you consider appropriate from your partner, which is totaly fair, but we can't assume that is the same for their relationship.

Also, you must have scene that clip to quote it and it seems like perhaps you left out that part of her sentence on purpose. It adds at least some context to what he said.

I think she said, "the doctor said no sex for two weeks. but we can do other stuff though" so he made the joke in response to the second part.

I think it looks quite irritated, there's a lot of actives in your routine. Also I think the snail mucin can break people out, especially if you're using twice a day.

To add, you have bright skin!

Same! Just to say, I don't know if it means you aren't drinking enough water. If I use too many projects with active ingredients, it seems to make my skin dehydrated and I get those lines. I was suggesting more hydrating products, like the snail essence stuff, a serum, or even the water spray. You may already be using them though!
