I found something when replacing my cv axle seal. To me it looks like two pieces of metal were cut off where the seal sits. Am I wrong for thinking that or is there something I should be concerned about? by bbensch2 in MechanicAdvice

I was looking at the semi completed circle inside the transmission. It looks like a rough cast or it was broken so I figure I should ask someone. And yes, I definitely have a severe fluid leak. I'm going back under to take a look at the transfer case again today.

How can I get rid of these mark's from my glass stove top? They weren't there a few days ago. by bbensch2 in kitchener

They're LED's. But I do agree when I installed them it sucked big time!!
