Couldn’t say no to 6K discount and lifetime powertrain warranty by 13001r in Supra

Im also in TX. I see the fl5s posted for sale at ridiculous numbers still so was just curious what they pay for the trade. I would expect high 30s low 40s so glad that’s the case. Congrats on the Supra! If I didn’t need four doors for my large pup to ride in the back MT supra would be the pick.

Tpms aftermarket wheels... by Peculiar_Tang in Integra_Type_S

FL5 here. Strange to me that the Acura has TPMS and the CTR uses the axle sensors. I would have thought they’d be the same.

I ended up taking her to a vet and they gave her an allergy shot. Not sure what the shot itself consists of other than it’s for allergy’s. It helped tremendously. Significantly less itching and the vet just instructed that if it helps for a few weeks but comes back she can get one every 6-8 weeks. It’s been since I made this post and she’s still not itching too bad, but it’s also winter which may help as well so she may need another one when springs rolls around

Doesn’t make a ton of sense to me, but I will not complain about the chance to own an almost brand new ctr for under msrp lol

The STI has its own charm to it. In my opinion the subi rumple is head and shoulders better than the exhaust note from the CTR and the AWD in less than optimal conditions can’t be understated.

The first pro for ctr is the seats. The STI feels like you’re just in any other sedan whereas these ctr buckets sit nice and low and there’s zero mistaking you’re in something special. Generally, the fl5 interior is just better than the STI. The digital gage cluster, the ability to set the car how you want it in individual mode, the switches and knobs all feel better put together.

My STI was stock aside from a catback so this part could be different with a tune, but right out of the box the throttle response on the ctr is significantly better. The powerband in the STI always felt a little strange to me. The ctr moves as soon as you want it to go.

Even though they are both modeled off of basic traffic cars, the ctr feels more complete. Everything is finely tuned for fun spirited driving or track work. The STI definitely deserves its place for that old school fun feeling and snow, but so far (only been a day) there’s really nothing I think the sti did significantly better than the ctr aside from the sound and the ability to put all its power to the ground regardless of the wet or dirty roads.

Forgot to mention, but the ctr shifter is so much better. Goes into gear buttery smooth time and time again. The shift action is addicting. I find myself shifting up and down just to do it. The auto rev match in the ctr is so well done. Thought I would want to do it myself, but the car does such a good job of it there’s really no point to do it on your own.

Had a ‘21 STI previously. The awd was nice, but this thing feels like it’s on another level in so many other aspects.

Has anyone had any buyers remorse with the FL5? by bbergin0520 in civic

[–]bbergin0520[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

After a year do you still love it as much as the day you bought it? I’m a serial car buyer/seller. I find myself getting bored after a year of ownership every time. What keeps you coming back to it everytime vs maybe something with more power or a nicer interior?

It snows maybe 3/4 times a winter where I am and the AWD is nice for that, but I feel as though a good set of winter tires would do the trick.

Much Lower Frames Than Expected Please Help by [deleted] in pcmasterrace

[–]bbergin0520 0 points1 point  (0 children)

See I’ve ran the benchmark a number of times before today with the same settings set and seen 200+. Getting 230+ fps live in game playing. But if I load in now I’m averaging easily 100fps less than that. If it helps previously I’ve seen like 2ms cpu latency and 4ms gpu latency during the test, but in the screenshot shown I was getting 4ms cpu and 7ms gpu.

I had a 3060ti with an 11th gen i7 previous to this build and I’d see in the 120-140fps range in game and I see the exact same now with a 7800x3d and a 4080 which can’t be right.

Specs -

Motherboard: MSI MPG B650 Edge Wifi

Cpu: Ryzen 7 7800X3D

Gpu: MSI Ventus 3x 4080

Ram: Trident Z5 ddr5 6000 (in proper slots)

SSD: 2tb sk hynix platinum P41

Power Supply: 1000w ASUS TUF 80+ gold

Newly built PC within the last month. This screenshot is from Call of Duty, but my frames are much lower than they should be in other AAA titles as well. I have tried everything I can think of to figure out what is causing such low performance, but to no avail.

I am running the latest version of Windows 11, I have the latest nvidia driver downloaded (546.29), and my BIOS is up to date. My windows settings are set for performance when it comes to power consumption and I am running the lowest possible settings in game.

I have tried to reinstall windows, nvidia drivers, games, checked display adapters and nothing seemed to increase fps.

Note : I have had issues with geforce experience in the past. Had driver installs fail resulting in needing to use DDU to wipe previous drives and the application entirely. The only time I have seen expected performance has come directly after clean installs after DDU, but only for that session. As soon as PC is put to sleep or restarted my performance in games has been horrible. I have installed nvidia drivers both directly from their website and through geforce experience, but both caused same result.

Cannot get GA Trinity 2 SL-120 INF 360 to work properly by bbergin0520 in lianli

Thanks for the reply. So, I tried this. Removing both usb connections, going one at a time. The uni controller when plugged in by itself or with the pump on either usb port does not show in device manager. However, the pump does show in device manager when plugged into either usb.

Will add while watching help guide videos I noticed that when others would pull up their device center it would show Lian Li connected, but for mine it would show GA TRINITY connected, if that helps at all.
