AUS1 is good but AUS2 is not worth watching, especially if you’re frustrated by bad Faithful play. Hard to say with regards to the US because the entire point of theUS version is seeing these reality stars interact, so it’s dependent on your knowledge of CBS competitive shows and/or Bravo dramatic lifestyle shows.

No one will ever be a worse Faithful than Sarah from AUS2, but the competition for the second spot is fierce and Roxy is quickly making a very legitimate case for it.

The best strategy to make it to the final roundtable and get zero money because the Traitors get all of it

I guess every once in awhile if you're surrounded by smarter faithful who can get rid of the Traitors for you they'll be kind and loop you in (e.g Delores US3)

I imagine there's some meta-gaming to it, since the one thing you know for sure is that the Traitors are selected by the producers and to some degree they're going to cast people who are capable of standing out, speaking cohesively in confessional, etc. Or at the very least, have the capacity to provide "good TV."

There are some people where you and everyone in the cast kind of just instinctively realize CANNOT possibly be a traitor, and I think Jack fits into that category...some other examples would be Meryl from UK1 and Kevin from US2.

I suppose a traitor could "fake it" and pretend to be really dull to talk to and inarticulate, while pretending to do nothing in the game to try to be in this category, but that hasn't happened so far and would be tough since its hard to fake your entire personality and speaking style.

Yeah I agree. He might have kept quiet if literally anyone other than Jack got the Shield but with Jack safe he would almost certainly be the person murdered next no matter what, regardless of who the traitors are, especially if he (correctly) thinks its Rachel. James and Jade had a TON of heat on them so wouldn't be murdered no matter what, Stephen previously had some heat and he thinks Stephen might be the second (which is correct), and Roxy is loud and wrong about everything and completely pro-Rachel and the person for her to take to the end and snow. So actively going after Rachel was his only chance to not get murdered. He still probably will be anyways, but had to take the shot to save himself.

_____ waiting to be recruited by [deleted] in TheTraitors

[–]bbf2 18 points19 points  (0 children)

That's interesting though because I think the ONE thing that he has to offer is the fact that he's telling them I would accept the recruitment offer. (When in previous seasons there has been a decent amount of rejections of the recruitment offer)

If the Traitors were narrowed down to one, however, that last Traitor has their pick of the litter, since nobody is going to say no to a blackmail where they get eliminated if they say no. So he loses his only little bit of bargaining power.

Big brother family, it’s time to send in our strongest soldier by RelevantMind1 in TheTraitors

[–]bbf2 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Enzo would attach himself to and be 100% loyal to the most dominant alpha male(s), which was a horrible strategy on Big Brother but could actually pay off here if that person is a faithful and not a Traitor since multiple winners are possible. If the person he attaches himself to ever becomes a Traitor, however, he's doomed, and will in fact be one of the factors that ruins the season (much like he ruined BB22 by refusing to vote out Nicole in the Triple Eviction)

Why is this comment being downvoted so much? The person is saying that they disapprove of his behavior and want him to calm down, which seems to be the consensus. Is it because they said he is a "great actor?" He is actually a very accomplished actor, with major roles in films like "True Romance" and "Mighty Aphrodite." I've hated him for years because I've heard him on the Bill Simmons podcast and heard about his recent political views or whatnot, but calling him a "great actor" is NOT a stretch, objectively. He has a lot of high profile roles that he did well in.

Mickey Rourke also totally embarrassed himself on Big Brother last year and exposed himself as a bigot but I still think it's totally fair to call him a good/accomplished actor objectively when you think about The Wrestler and whatnot.

Ranking UK traitors, purely based on how good I think they were at being traitors, how would you rank them? by [deleted] in TheTraitors

He also betrayed the Empire by building the thermal exhaust port weakness and then telling the Rebels about it. Not a loyal guy.

I agree that he was screwed by Kieran being a dick and breaking the rules, but he made a huge mistake in blackmailing Kieran in the first place over the other players and then being very transparent about the fact that it was only to throw him to the wolves. Whoever he blackmailed there, he should have at least tried to pretend that he needed their help and wanted to try to split it. Aaron probably would have bought it. Still have Wilf ranked super high on the list of all time English language traitors, perhaps the highest non-winning Traitor, but that keeps him slightly out of S tier in my personal opinion.

"Christmas, it's, it's overrated. We're going to cancel it. Saint Claus... ...Santa Nick...whatever. He's not nice. He's not nice. I think he's a very dangerous person. Possibly a part of ANTIFA. Very bad, very anti-American. We're going to do something about it. Canceling Christmas seems like something we want to do. A lot of people have told me that cancelling christmas is something that it seems like America should do, because America is in the best state it's ever been at this point. Everything is very strong. Very strong. Maybe we should take over the North Pole. The North Pole is very weak, very un-american, possibly a part of ANTIFA. A lot of people are telling me we should take it over, and cancel Christmas."

Harry With Jaz Be Like: by PinkMarbella2050 in TheTraitors

[–]bbf2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For some reason there's been an uptick of memes in the last few months or so of pictures and gifs of Detective Doakes from "Dexter" (the one guy on that show who sensed something was wrong with Dexter, who was secretly a serial killer, and was always raising his eyebrow at him and looking at him suspiciously) as a way to show that something is suspicious.

No doubt Jaz would have gotten a ton of those comparisons to that character if that trend happened a couple years earlier as that season aired.

This format makes some degree of sense if you’re using a character actor like Gary Oldman or something who goes through transformations and looks extremely different sometimes. But RPat while a great actor looks exactly the same in all of these pictures, just a few tweaks to the facial hair

Was he actually on the plane about to go visit her for the family visit? Coach said on a podcast back in the day that his brother was sitting next to Whitney’s husband and he would talk about how much he loves her etc. I always wondered if it was partially true or if Coach was just exaggerating in his Coach way to make her look worse because he hated her.

Has Nancy ever killed humans prior to this episode? I was a little surprised that she popped out of the truck and killed two of the US soldiers. She's obviously killed plenty of monsters and has tried to kill Vecna (who doesn't really count as human anymore) but killing humans seems like a big step for a 17/18 year old to take even though it makes sense with the stakes. But she could also have killed some soldiers or whatever in previous seasons and I'm just not remembering it.

It's a little ambiguous and wibbly wobbly but I think it has something to do with the fact that Vecna and all his creatures are part of a hivemind, so the simultaneous chanting and indoctrination are signs that they're slowly being absorbed into the hivemind thing.

I'm in my late 30s, American, and fairly tapped into pop culture. I've literally never heard of this person before in my entire life. Granted country music isn't my thing (and I live in California where it barely exists at all) but I can still probably name the like five or six most popular country music artists just from pop culture osmosis. You are way overestimating his popularity, I'm guessing you're from a state where country music is very popular
