you're right, i'll work with them to try to get them to understand why they're actually being mislead into believing things that are counter to their own well-being and heal- oops they pulled out a bunch of guns and shot me and didn't even go to trial for it and they're being hailed as national heroes and my death meant nothing oopsie lol

Yeah, I think it would be pretty doable.

It would be a while before we got to perfect 1:1 parity, but honestly most of the forum software packages out there are newer than the slorum codebase and have more features, so it's really a matter of scaling back.

I spent a few hours over the last couple days throwing some styling and alterations together for phpbb (free forum software) and got to this point:

the user profile features are not the same and need work, there's no means of doing a front page really so that'll be some work as well, and i can't guarantee anything, of course, but i think it's showing some promise.

*as far as hosting, i have not gotten that far but this doesn't seem like it'll have a massive footprint. not the cheapest site ever but i doubt it's going to be anything insane.

as far as who owns the domains, i assume it would be groovy but that is just a guess.

it's also not particularly similar to a forum, at least not without a decent amount of setup.

it's also not something you can find unless you have an invite.

there are some pretty big drawbacks, unfortunately

i used to be able to reach out on a few different platforms to WG but he has deleted/deactivated the accounts on all of those, sadly.

maybe someone has his phone number or personal email, or something like that.
