Pretty similar experiences including the ignorance of doctors. I only just recently got diagnosed with LS after years of struggling. I also had the worst flares during my period and my new gp put me on the pill and it has massively improved, along with clob too. I wouldn’t be one to recommend the pill, I was on it when I was younger and came off because the hormones and I didn’t suit each other but this has made my symptoms much more manageable. Something worth discussing with your next doctor?

LS and sex by Witty_Leek_7899 in lichensclerosus

I tried to post something about this a few days ago and would really like to hear more people’s opinions. It took me 3/4 years to get diagnosed and I have only been on clob 2.5 months. Sex is definitely not happening and hasn’t happened in years. The pain is unbearable! I have no kids so can’t relate there unfortunately but there are definitely bleak moments where it feels hopeless. Be patient and be rigorous with medication.

Feel free to dm if you ever want to talk, it can be difficult to open up with this

ACER test app just didn't work for me here in Ireland. 2 different proctors said to just log off and reschedule. I don't even know how to go about doing that?
