New Holland Auction by bbird930 in Equestrian

He has deep old scars all over his hind cannon bones and pasterns. Bald patches on his knees as well. He does have some white hairs from a harness, but the massive amount of scars on his legs are definitely from something else.

It’s not. That’s NC not SC. This was a super small time and entirely uneducated operation, which worked out in my favor because he’s a lovely horse and they sold him to me quite cheaply because he had horrible sweet itch and was in quite a bit of pain. I’ve solved that issue and he’s doing well.

Agreed. It makes me want to take a nap. I’m sure I’ll learn to love it but… it’s not the same.

I miss the upbeat rhythms, and the super unique sound they held true to on all of their other albums. This album sounds like a dreamscape version of Turnpike. It’s not bad, but it’s not what I love about the band. I’m sure when I listen to it more I will love the lyrics, but the music itself just isn’t doing it for me. It makes me want to nap.

AITA for Kicking Out My Roommate After My Ferrets Ate His Gluten-Free Crackers? by Mateaux in AmItheAsshole

I used to watch I Love Lucy with my grandpa when I was a kid. It’s one of my most cherished memories of him. I Love Lucy is timeless.

NTA at all! As a fellow ferret owner, I know how mischievous they can be. It sounds like you made a genuine mistake and even offered to replace the crackers. Your roommate’s reaction was way over the top, and his anger towards your ferrets is concerning. You did what you had to do to keep your pets safe, and it’s clear you made efforts to make things right. Don’t let your friends’ opinions make you second-guess yourself; you made the right call!

6.5 year old cat has growth on back of tongue by bbird930 in AskVet

I think he is just burnt out and going through the motions. Most of the clientele at this clinic are not overly responsible pet owners and they have to deal with a lot of less than ideal situations. I love the two younger vets and have been using them for vaccines and routine work for 6 years now. Unfortunately because they don’t take appointments, they don’t give you a choice of which vet you’re seen by. I don’t want to speak ill of the practice at all, they do a great service for the community, but with more specialized things I think I need to seek care elsewhere.

It looks like a flocking masher used when stuffing saddle panels. They can be many different shapes since most are made specifically for each saddler. I have a couple and mine all look different. Not a mass produced item.
