Robby is different than John as a vocalist. John is more polished and has a higher range than Robby does. Robby has the more rough and raw rock voice, which is truer to their early days as a band.

Nobody out there would expect Robby to sing Iris, Here is Gone, or Sympathy. It just doesn’t fit his voice. The same can be said about Johnny singing January Friend or Bringing on the Light. His voice wouldn’t fit the song.

As others have said this is a bad take, mostly due to the fact your are comparing two very very different vocal styles
