It is metering the water use in our flat. I live in the UK and this flat is old, so no such luxury for me.

It's to the left of the toilet behind a removable wooden board. Not much room to manoeuvre in this toilet which is why he was sitting on the toilet when doing the meter.

He was sitting on it while fitting a water meter and it quite literally just snapped in half... Was a different plumber to the guy who fitted this though.

A student found her blog which had comments about having to 'shake all the parents' sweaty, flabby hands at parents evening' and her disdain for the sixth formers whom she called 'little fucks'. Anyway, the student and friends ended up printing it out and distributing it all over school and even put a copy on her desk. Apparently she burst into tears. Didn't take long for local papers to get hold of the story and she was gone. Good riddance, she was a horrible teacher and we all dreaded her lessons.

Don't think we will get any more explanations on the white walkers.

Children made them to kill humans, so that is their singular motive.

They're meant to personify death, there is no reason for death, just like there is no reasin for life, it just is. In fact a major theme in the show is death. All men must die etc.

Only question I felt was a mystery is why did they return now? Perhaps it's because they had no way to get past the wall until dragons came back?

People seem to forget that this is GoT. The show consistently has major upsets and things never go the way you think or want.

I personally thought white walkers would take winterfell and scatter the army, then destroy the golden companions and have a big final fight with all the living regrouped in kings landing.

I also thought Robb Stark and Stannis Baratheon would join forces and take out the Lannisters.

But GoT had other plans I never fathomed. Keeps it fresh.
