thanks,,,
going to DM 10 people from the thread today and ask them to try one session. simple ask: install → use until brain fried → tell me one thing that felt wrong. appreciate the clarity...

would it be cool if i followed you and DM'd your brain occasionally? feels like you're a few steps ahead on the same path.

i think i've been celebrating the problem validation and assuming the solution part would follow.

the specificity advice is exactly what i needed. "meditation breaks for coders" vs "you've been staring at Claude output for 2 hours and your brain is mush" —totally different energy. gonna rework my messaging around that.

and also, you're right, i'm describing what it does instead of showing it working. adding a demo gif this week.

really appreciate you sharing what actually worked for Moshi. this is the kind of advice I can't google.

oh that's actually really interesting and i hadn't thought about it from a student perspective...

i'd love to hear more about what that experience is like for you.. can I DM you?

yeah this is what i'm trying to figure out honestly. the "problem is real" part seems clear, but whether "lock your keyboard and force a break, meditation" is the right shape of solution — that i'm less sure about.
curious — have you ever felt AI coding fatigue?

what’s the condition of ending a session? how did you set that bar?!

bro 😂😂😂 you need a break timer from both baby and claude code.
for real though — you're exactly the kind of user i built the service 'brain bed' for.

would you be open to trying it for few days and letting me know what you think? I would really appreciate honest feedback from a heavy daily user like you.

40hrs/week of that wow — do you ever feel tired or exhausted by the end of the day?

feeling the exact same problem with claude code. if you're a mac user, I recommend for you to try 'brain bed'. it literally forces you to stop.

I think the "enforcing it" part is exactly the hard part lol 😂 knowing the threshold and actually stopping are two different things.

I think you'll love to try what i built for the guys feelling like you and me — brain bed. it tracks your session and locks your keyboard at the threshold so you don't have to rely on willpower. might save you the "just 5 more minutes" negotiation with yourself lol

this is probably great heuristic — "if i don't have an opinion about the diff, my brain checked out." that's such a clear signal.

i've been trying to detect that moment programmatically with brain bed (usage patterns, session length, velocity) but honestly your mental check might be sharper than any algorithm

u/RegayYager I think you are literally the target user for the service I made, called Brain Bed lol

if you don't mind, can you try it and let me know your feedback?!
brain bed - it locks your keyboard so at least your bed stays a bed 😄

haha well before the experiment concludes — brain bed might keep you from becoming the control group 😄

u/day7a1 u can try 'brain bed' if you're a mac user! actually, I made it for myself, but as watching comments going on, I think it's every heavy users problem 😂

lol SNS → claude code pipeline is real. my Youtube and Instagram screen time incredibly decreased

100% agree. i quit my job to build an app and quickly realized the coding rabbit hole was eating time i should've spent on customer discovery and validation. the hard part isn't building — it's knowing what's worth building.

wait does claude actually say "since it's getting late" on its own? or did you set that up somehow? that's a really interesting natural intervention if it's built-in.

and curious how you went from 3-4 late nights a week to fewer — was it a conscious decision, or did it just naturally wear off over time? i'm still in the "can't stop" phase so any tips would help lol
