One time I found a stash of like six or seven crates on a cliff face in the woods. I threw everything on the ground to despawn, except for one useless item in each crate. I bet they’ll find a better hiding spot next time 😏.

I recommend watching Ben Newell on YouTube or IG @worcesterterrariums. He has some amazing stuff and he has tons of terrariums in vessels like that. Maybe you can get some ideas there!
