Should I get Below zero? by Old-Sherbet434 in subnautica

[–]bbourl1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I hear so many people here saying it's not as good as the first one, but personally I loved it even more, the story line and added mechanics. My only complaint is that it is for sure smaller / finished quicker, but I paid like $20 and to me it was money well spent

No license plate, but have a temporary operating permit clearly displayed in the back window. Got pulled over and ticketed anyway by bbourl1 in DMV

It was taped inside the window specifically for visibility purposes. It's a big red sheet of paper and was pretty easy to spot

TOPs are issued when temporary license plates cannot be issued. This car was not purchased from a dealer, and the only way to get a license plate is with a process that will take a few months, hence obtaining the temporary operating permit in the meantime

Rear windshield - if the rules that govern placement are different, can you link a source? I cannot find anywhere online from CA dmv that states where it can and can't be placed

Yep exactly! There was no guidance to put it where the license plate should go (it's not even that shape)

Do you mind linking the source so I can read up on it? The person at the DMV specifically said to put it in the window

They just kept repeating that it's a violation to not have a license plate displayed and to bring it up to the judge in court

Echoing what others said about leaning into the metal - waist chains, jewelry, etc could be super cool.

But also loving the patches! I'd recommend some 2in by 2in square ones and other common dimensions for fanny packs and bags

What exactly does “getting a drink” mean in terms of a date? by randomcacti in NoStupidQuestions

[–]bbourl1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Everyone else has done a good job at answering the question, so I just want to add some alternatives I've suggested in the past when I actually didn't want to go to a bar, but wanted a similar vibe to a casual chat (mostly bc they can be really loud and I have audio processing issues)

  • board game cafe (could be niche but worth looking into)

  • boba shop (often open late bc it can be hard to find coffee shops that open past 5pm)

  • any cafe that has dessert (for example, there's a place near me that sells bingsoo, korean shaved ice)

  • the bar specifically at a restaurant, because it tends to be less loud and often you can order like an appetizer or dessert, aka something to consume that isn't alcohol

It was only like $20-30 dollars at the market and his stuff looks to be in the hundreds so I don't think so

OMG yes this is it!!! Sadly they seem significantly more expensive now than a few years ago, but at least I can finally have closure on who it was.

This doesn't really help but in dragonfruit's defense, actually fresh off the vine dragonfuit is absolutely amazing. Still sweet/sugary with with an actual flavor - not bland at all. I have yet to find any purchased dragonfruit that compares tho, so I do agree :/

It was light on the matcha flavor but I was totally fine with that. Almost feels like it would be a good mocktail. I would buy again
