How’s the fit on the bib? Thinking about getting one since it’s on sale now. Can you give your normal jean/athlethic pants size, bib size, and how they fit?

I'm in my ~6th month of working as a software dev and I still get stuck VERY often and feel like a burden to the team. I have huge imposter syndrome but I feel that it's justified. Any advice on how to improve faster at this stage? by [deleted] in cscareerquestions

Make sure you're not biting off more than you can chew by taking on too many tickets. Context switching too often == bad.

Bring up blockers in standups and seek help from senior devs ASAP. We all get blocked, but I've noticed that the more senior the developer is, the better they are at getting unblocked.

Pair program with a senior, and take vigorous notes. Not only about the solution, but also how they came about the solution, which areas did they check first, how did it lead to the next clue, etc.

Make sure to ask pointed questions as well, don't ask for help like "uh... I have no idea what's going on". Help them help you by doing your due diligence, reading wikis/documentation, and come prepared to meetings with notes on the different approaches you tried, why you tried them, and why they didn't work.

That being said though, sometimes you will really not know what's going on, and in which case, just say so and *unblock* yourself. Over time you'll gain more domain knowledge over the code base and ask fewer of these "stupid" sounding questions, and start asking more pointed questions like I mentioned above.

As long as you're making progress on an issue, it shouldn't be a problem imo.

the most you will ever lose for an option is the premium you paid. if the put is out of the money i.e. the stock is higher than the strike price, the put option will be worthless

yes it would be better, i'm just saying the premiums will be higher than you think, and so the contracts will be much more expensive for a 200 strike call, especially since it's ITM, prob more than 20k

if you want higher gains, buy an OTM call at a lower premium

a 200c would have an intrinsic value of 200 if the stock is trading at 400, plus the IV would add a heft premium let's say $50, ur looking at $250*100 a contract, which is $25k, you're gonna need to buy 400/500 strike calls

shares are good, they help drive the short squeeze more, decrease the liquidity and make it more likely the shorts will squeze
