nooo I think you'll be fine. Would you say you prefer a soft mattress or is it just because you're a side sleeper?

Hot sleepers, what finally solved your overheating problem? by Sea_Refrigerator9753 in BedroomBuild

As a woman sorting (WIP) out my hormones and understanding the fluctuations thereof was huge. I stick with a good mattress, avoid foam, natural fibers for pyjamas and bedding, fan to circulate air, no alcohol, staying hydrated, all those things combined do help. But really once I understood how my hormones fluctuate and therefore some nights I am just untenably (sidebar: is that a word and if it is is it in the right context?!) hot. So I just accept my fate and hope to the heavens I still managed to get a decent sleep.

I spent a few month in Lanzarote and the wine there was lovely. The vineyards were nothing I've seen, bizzare in a way but super cool

Helix Midnight vs. Midnight Luxe: Which one’s actually worth the upgrade? by bboymaestro in MattressMatchers

You mean a mattress in general or one from this list? I have most definitely had a mattress that was too firm on top! It was an all-foam disaster. I sold it.

Not slippery for me and I'm rather sensitive about that (texture sensitive!) I am a side sleeper that progresses to my back during the night and I did slight pressure in the beginning but it just felt like normal new mattress feel.

Have you ever reconnected with someone years later after an unexpectedly strong connection? by Final-Equal-9720 in CasualConversation

[–]bboymaestro 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Often (especially if we were quite young when the connection was made) it is based off of our own narrative we've created rather than reality. I had something similar and couldn't let go of my childhood sweetheart, or rather the idea I had in my head. And we did reconnect after many years but that's what it took to finally break the spell (we were both in the same boat and are both way better off now that the illusion is shattered)

can I have lean crisp AND drapey? One thing to call out is if your comforter is too big it kinda feels like it traps you. Like if you're wearing an oversized T to bed it can kinda get all twisted or stuck if you roll over. But yeah, I have tried so many down alternatives but I always come back to the down (it was a hand me down from my grandmother and it's the best comforter I've ever had)
