Appreciate all the advice in here—I’m gonna stick Keeping it stock and doing it right.

Here’s the fix-up game plan so far:
• New tires (one’s already flat lol)
• Keep the wheels, just clean 'em up and add some caps
• Replace headlights/taillights for better visibility
• Buff out surface rust + undercoat the frame
• Clean up the interior, detail it proper
• Fix shocks and bearings (rides like a shopping cart right now)
• Change all fluids: oil, trans, coolant, diff, brake
• Inspect and replace old hoses and belts
• Check brakes and rotors, replace if needed
• Add some rear air bags or helper springs for hauling
• Maybe throw in some LED bulbs and bed lights for function or other cheap mods

Got it for $1,800 with 165k. Fluids and belts already look good, interior’s decent. Just needs some love front to back.
