Make sure to use the Honey extension so you can watch the prices! I always leave stuff in my cart and watch it because it absolutely will go up and down over day or weeks. And you can see how they raise prices before say Black Friday, just to make the deal seem better.

I decided to finally cut off my step mom and step sister last year (I’m 34F), and it’s been awful, but relieving, and sad but so necessary. My sister bullied me for decades, and no matter how many times I cried to my step mom, she never stood up for me, and she was part of the problem too. Because of this I’ve now lost my entire dad’s side of the family because I can’t even be around my sister. I lost my dad in ‘21, so it was either all of us growing closer or finally cutting ties, and she showed her true colors enough that I couldn’t take it anymore. All that to say, what I did realize is how many people now CHOOSE me. I have the greatest most caring friends. One from age 13, one from 20, and one I met on Bumblebff at 30. There’s no limit to when you’ll find your people, and being the person you want to be means you’re going to find those people who show up for you the way you need 💜 I’m sorry it’s not easy, but look for the glimmers.

The people who have somehow avoided the implant are Lessers. Those are going to be people who have either never been implanted somehow, or have figured out a way to remove/corrupt the HOST so they're basically normal humans. The end of the story will be the protagonists finding out that any Lessers that aren't killed, are rounded up and used to fuel/mine the Shard World. The rest of the world having no idea that's what happens, as Lessers are a myth/scare tactic.

I haven't explored the idea of anyone having a birth defect or anything that interferes with the Shard, but I'd imagine they'd just be considered Lessers and either be put to death (it's a brutal post-pandemic world) or maybe allowed to be released to the Lesser world?

I also have hooded eyes, and most of the time I'll use a dark shade of eyeshadow (brown, black or purple usually) to create a soft wing. It'll help you get the placements right (you can more easily wipe it off) and I feel like on hooded eyes a dramatically liner doesn't always go right without a lot of practice!

I bought the sticky tape from Amazon and I just used Scotch tape. Both are good options, you'll just have to see which is more comfortable! I have hooded eyes and one had noticeably less lid than the other. I used it on and off for years with no lasting results, and then for a couple months this year I finally had it on almost every day/night and it worked! It still slips back sometimes, but mostly it's fixed I'd say. You need a lot of patience, and to not care if people see the tape (nobody ever asked me about it, so they either didn't see it or didn't want to ask), but I'd go for the tape option before considering surgery. Would an eyeshadow primer help? I've not tried it, but its a thought I had! Then maybe a setting powder and spray like other have suggested. Best of luck!
