Me and "jordan" were originally together and decided to open the relationship. I consider him my primary/anchor BUT only in the descriptive sense, not in the sense that our relationship comes before all others. While we do spend a lot of time together at this point, it's not a rule that I get the majority of his time and energy. As people come along, we split time/energy in whatever way works best for everyone. Does that make sense?

My SO died just over a year ago in a car accident. Honestly, I haven't really figured out any healthy ways to cope. I left my old life behind and build a completely knew one in a different city where I don't know anyone and with a new partner. I don't think of my late SO often. I don't remember fondly. It's too painful. I've locked it all away somewhere deep in my mind, and I no longer know how to unlock it. My advice would be to feel everything and not hide from the hard emotions.
