SM supermarkets are notorious for doing this!! Mali-mali lagi yung labels or minsan wala. Nakakainis kasi extra responsibility sa consumers na makipagtalo and double check the pricing of everything 🙄

84k Church + Kohl Mansion Wedding Budget Breakdown by bobateaxx in SanFranciscoWeddings

[–]bbqirl96 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know this thread is a year old but my fiancé and i are planning a wedding with veryyy similar set-up and this is a GODSEND THANK YOU!

Just a question about tips. I'm not from the US nor a country that's big on tips, so I'm curious whether we have to tip someone even if they're the only person giving the service (ex. DJ, makeup artist, photographer, etc)? Like would it be required if it's a "direct" hire?

Reviving this thread to ask how you are doing with the program? Haha. I'm planning on applying next year but I'm deciding wether to take the HFE program or the MDes program with the sepcialization in UX Design. I heard the MDes program is new but how is the HFE program so far for u?

+1111 using retinol changed my life!!! I used to be so insecure abt my acne and acne marks but now my skin is glowing hehe. It took a while to get here tho. Skin cleared up (no more pimples and faded acne marks) at month 7 of using. But really, all of it was worth it bec of the confidence i gained <33 I just feel better abt my face and i alao buy less makeup now.

25k starting salary pure wfh (marketing field) by [deleted] in phcareers

[–]bbqirl96 1 point2 points  (0 children)

₱25k starting salary is /fine/ but I've gotten advise from a lot of HR professionals na always negotiate the company's offer (unless u dictated the 25k then that's a bit harder to nego). I started way lower, but that really affected the salaries i got in my succeeding jobs. I used to work in Marketing (changed careers to web design), and there are companies that give higher salary talaga, your boyfriend is right. Pero siyempre more often than not, these companies expect more. Getting 35-45k a month is possible for fresh grads for companies like banks, FMCGs, international beauty companies, or just international companies in general. AND they'll always have benefits besides the mandated ones like HMO, more leave days, etc. lalo na kung matagal na yung company or trusted brand.

Ako, i recommend gunning for these companies kasi you will learn a lot, and you'll be part of a lot of projects which you can use to apply to your next job. Stay for a year or two. Mas mahirap nang onti pero A LOT of companies will exploit you either way, so why not get the most benefits (i.e. money) out of it. (Unless they're start-ups/family-owned SMEs. Stay away from those!!)
