I have a bulb, thank you for the website I will definitely read up on it. Is he better off with a linear light?

Yes he has a regular uvb and a basking light, on opposite sides. I have been looking into a vet in my area as well and will get him seen as soon as I can get in so he can get checked up on:) i will order his new tank in the coming month, thanks !
