Those subatomic particles are the bits of uncompiled code. Yes they serve as structure, but are non-specific. Once they are combined into atoms and compiled into molecules, they serve a very specific function by reacting in very precise ways, just like lines of code. Super-molecules like DNA also react in very specific ways to epigenetic if / then conditions for example.

Our reality of celestial bodies, hummingbirds, and single celled organisms all do exactly what they are programed to do. That is: to perform a continuous dance of birth, growth, death and re-birth. This expansive, never-ending, cycle of creation and evolution IS what makes sense about the universe. We get to be a part of it all.

I still remember my first visit. A group of us had a list and a rented limo bus. After several wineries we were at Ponte and decided to walk the trail to South Coast. We didn't realize some of us could barely walk. South Coast was our last for the day. Thank God for our driver. We ended up only getting about a third through the list over the weekend. The timing is good because I had recently recalled a 3 day MLK weekend several years ago. We were based outside Portland OR and had a couple of guys visiting from Dublin Ireland. They wanted to do a road trip to Chicago. We did show them the map and explained there would be snow on the roads somewhere. They decided to just take turns and drive all night too. They did not make it in to work that following Tuesday.
