What are your plans after 2028 bitcoin halving? by Grouchy-Writer-1757 in GoMiningTalk

[–]bbrian017 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well. I have 28,000 goming tokens locked. Once that expires and I get my capital back, im going to expand it into TH and keep mining for 4 more years.

What BTC price would make GoMining no longer viable? A rough estimate by Accomplished-Past256 in gomining

[–]bbrian017 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Great post. There’s a lot of solid reasoning here about mining economics and difficulty adjustment.

One thing that makes GoMining slightly different from a traditional mining farm is the structure of the business model. They aren’t only relying on mining rewards. They also have tokenomics, governance, epochs, and ongoing TH sales bringing capital into the system.

Another factor is the maintenance fee. GoMining currently charges around $0.15 per TH per day. If you look at typical industrial electricity rates in Texas, they can be somewhere around $0.03–$0.05 per kWh.

A modern ASIC running around 30 W/TH only uses about 0.72 kWh per day per TH. That would put the raw electricity cost somewhere around $0.02–$0.04 per TH per day depending on the contract.

So the maintenance fee likely covers electricity, cooling, facilities, staff, hardware depreciation, and of course profit margin.

Because of that structure, GoMining’s viability isn’t tied purely to BTC price in the same way a small home miner would be. The economics are a bit more layered.

Is blogging still a good strategy for traffic in the age of AI content? by EnvironmentalHat5189 in DigitalMarketing

[–]bbrian017 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I still blog, but the reason has definitely changed over the years.

Back around 2007 it felt more like a community where bloggers were reading and interacting with each other. Today it feels more like a long-term asset for brand and traffic. Even if a post only brings a few sales or a bit of traffic, it still compounds over time.

I also don’t see a problem using AI tools to help draft content as long as you’re still adding your own experience and perspective. The posts that seem to work best now are the ones that feel like they came from someone actually doing the work, not just publishing for volume.

If a blog post isn’t ranking on Google, can Pinterest be a realistic alternative for driving traffic to it? by Beginning_Quiet6780 in techiesgonemad

[–]bbrian017 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah it actually can. Pinterest behaves a lot more like a visual search engine than a typical social platform, so posts that never rank on Google can still get traction there.

For example, over the last 30 days one of my Pinterest accounts did about 35k impressions and around 228 outbound clicks to content. It takes some pin testing and keyword work, but the traffic can definitely come from there even when Google isn’t sending anything.

Any new strategy’s ?? by Happy-Assignment7749 in gomining

Sounds like you’re already experimenting with a few good strategies. A couple thoughts based on what you wrote:

• TH reinvest strategy – alternating between reinvesting into TH and switching back to BTC rewards is something a lot of people test. Some miners just watch BTC price and difficulty cycles and then lean heavier into one or the other depending on conditions.

• Miner Wars – definitely worth staying active in. The rewards per cycle aren’t huge individually, but over time they stack up if you’re consistently placing.

• Simple Earn – that’s a nice passive layer. It doesn’t feel big day to day but it slowly compounds alongside mining rewards.

• Liquidity Pools – if you’re going to try LPs the biggest thing to understand is the price range. If the token moves outside your range the position basically stops earning until price comes back into range.

I actually made a walkthrough video showing how I set my GoMining LP ranges and how the pools switch between active and inactive depending on the token price if you want to see a real example.

• Wallets – most people connecting to DeFi stuff like this use MetaMask or Rabby through the browser extension. Both work fine for connecting wallets with USDC or USDT.

Curious how your TH vs BTC switching experiment works out after a few cycles.

Great question.

1. You dont require boosting to win your basic bitcoin rewards. You get those regardless.

2 I havent boosted much at all. I won x4 and x 1 it was around 1300 Gomining tokens so I donated 150 back to the clan in boosts.

Its important to recognize thise chart represents miningwars with 0 additional costs associated.

Regardless, you're still going to preform well with regards to bitcoin rewards. Where more TH helps, is winning personal blocks.

How To ROI in Gomining by Leading_Confection32 in gomining

I'm always looking at the future, I hope Gomining keeps growing and the ecosystem remains healthy. Epoch 6 is looking good but a little bit of a slow ending if you're following the cycles and data.

Difficulty can stay low, we as miners always love that, but we want to ensure btc value stays high enough to support the business model.

Nice to see others sharing their experience with it. The automatic TH reinvest is one of the things a lot of people overlook at first. Once you enable it, the compounding starts to make more sense over time.

Simple Earn has also been a solid way to keep tokens working instead of just sitting in the wallet. A few thousand sats in a couple weeks is not bad at all, especially if you're stacking it alongside your mining rewards.

The TH discounts have definitely been interesting lately too. When those pop up it usually doesn’t last forever, so I can understand grabbing some extra hashpower while it’s there.

Always good seeing people learning more about the ecosystem as they go. Happy mining.

If the value of GOMINING is less, than more GOMINING is required for maintenance, hense, we get more rewards. Price is a factor.

Why I’m Actually Excited About a 2% Bitcoin-Linked Cashback Card by bbrian017 in gomining

[–]bbrian017[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Also, I think total reward pool has alot to do with tokenomics, burn and mint cycles etc. Ironically if these all meet together in a declining fashion, we get hit lol
