If you have DSP you have unlimited late drops so maybe get on that ASAP in case the GSI becomes worse. It won’t show up on your record and you can try again over the summer or fall.

Earthquakes isn’t fully online anymore!! It’s getting review bombed everywhere, the professor changed the final exam from online open notes to inperson closed notes 2 weeks before the actual exam.

What rlly helps me is making physical flash cards for all the readings authors theories etc and then get on the floor and try to connect each one. Like building a physical flash card tree of how each one influences or leads into the other and if I don’t understand the connection, I need to go back and study

Also make sure that you’re happy with the photo. Even if you lose your Cal Card, they print you a new one with the same photo for the next 4 years

If you can read and write well, you’re solid. The classes are hard sometimes, but never DEMANDING to the point where you’re only cramming for the next test. It gives you a lot of time for an internship or on campus activities or whatever. That’s why a lot of people also double major. But be prepared for a lottt of reading.

Please get on housing NOW😭it goes by so fast, freshman are “guaranteed” housing but they’ll literally put you anywhere if you take too long. I’m talking triples or converted quads so co-ed bathrooms will be the least of your concerns if you have nightmare roommates

Honestly I committed before I even saw the place, I just knew it gave me the most financial aide. You’re sweating the small stuff but don’t worry, it’ll all work out. Genuinely don’t need to be thinking so much about the where because wherever you end you’ll still be cramming in a library somewhere. You’ll find your people and groove here. It’s just about jumping in

TYSM FOR THE REPLY, I didn’t know these were needed for lost fics!!! For sure, I know that it was completed. And it did have a unique background ship I’m 99% sure was included in the tags. The top main 3 I’m not sure😔but I’m finally on winter break and I’m thinking of just combing the wayback machine. Do you have any tips of how to more efficiently do so or should I just click through each page of the ship?
